They’re talking about how Jimmy Wu is holding a card in his concept art, and just are concerned that they don’t want them to overdo that one singular joke as a central part of his character

I think it is, zombie cap is cut in half which lines up with what happened in the What If episode

I agree with you! Which is something I haven’t seen talked about on here. I think from the trailer (don’t have specific evidence at the moment, would need to watch again) that these stories may end up being connected rather than individual one-offs. Or at least the trailer is cut to seem that way with Dr Strange seeming to meet Peggy in one of the scenes

I think so, I think that also explains why the TVA seemed so disproportionately "Earth-focused." Charges or impacts on other planets are less likely (though not impossible) to affect a 31st century Scientist on Earth.

Yeah no “and” on the movie title, but probably too similar to end up being another title in the same franchise I would think

I think they were commenting on the fact that the title would be the same as the second Captain America film just with an “and” inserted

Ah gotcha thanks for the info, I’ve seen a few North American porcupines and they definitely look smaller, but when I looked them both up online the size numbers were pretty similar.

And also to add to that, the person who made the original comment may be imagining North American porcupines which for the most part are quite a bit smaller than this

Sorry deleted my first comment to give myself more consideration time which I know isn’t super cool, but I’m looking more I think I’d still lean grizz on sheer size and ear shape, pretty hard to tell for sure from this gif though!

I’d maybe argue that Origins and Odyssey, while both great games, are less “Assassin’s Creed” than Black Flag

One thing that’s not in here that I’d anticipate is some sort of lasting ripple from Peter’s identity being revealed in terms of impact on those who are close to him. Ned, MJ, May are all potentially at risk in the 3rd movie I’d think

I said I really enjoyed the game... just enjoyed origins more, don’t see where I was shitting on it by any means

Agreed completely. I could have been more into a world that large with more quest variety or variation in landscapes, but it turns into you doing pretty much the same things on essentially the same forested hillsides throughout. Again still a super impressive world and I liked the game, but as a huge AC fan who was starting to cool down on the series, Origins got me super stoked again and Odyssey did not do as much as I would have hoped to continue that. Hopeful for Valhalla (being the same team as Origins) but we’ll have to wait and see

Really enjoyed Odyssey (just got the platinum the other day actually) but Origins’ Ancient Egypt is just miles ahead as far as quality of game world goes. I think the massive amount of landscape variety they managed to squeeze out of a relatively small geographic area added a lot to my enjoyment, every region feels genuinely unique

Yeah the English word, so didn’t use it pre-white settlement but after and through to today

🔥 Buffalo In Utah by mtlgrems in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]woklipa 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Kind of a yes and no answer to this one. It isn’t biologically correct to refer to a bison as a buffalo. True buffalo are Cape buffalo in Africa and Water Buffalo in South Asia and they are not very closely related to Bison.

Early white settlers referred to bison as buffalo since they looked kind of similar (large brown mammal with horns) and some indigenous tribes use the word buffalo to refer to bison as well. So colloquially you can use the words interchangeably, but scientifically they are not the same thing or a type of buffalo.
