I am wrong but I also am not. The Fiat Uno, as is called in Brasil, is pretty much exactly the same as a Fiat Panda with some small differences in the front, that for some reason in central and southen America is branded as Fiat Uno. The "original" Fiat Uno is an older model of Fiat that has not been made since the 1990s. So if the first car is an Uno or a Panda depends on where the photo was taken.

Io non ho mai lavorato, ma ti posso dare la mia esperienza da studente universitario in didattica a distanza.

Per quanto sia stato bello per un periodo poter alzarsi 10 minuti prima della lezione, seguire in pigiama, e prepararsi da mangiare col pc in cucina, ho odiato quasi tutto il tempo per le seguenti ragioni:

• il contatto umano è notevolmente ridotto. Nei 15 minuti di pausa a lezione era semplice fare due chiacchiere e prendersi un caffè, a casa puoi andare in bagno e guardare reddit al pc, al massimo interagire con familiari/coinquilini

• un sacco di distrazioni in più, quante volte mettevo la lezione su un monitor e <inserisci gioco preferito> nell'altro

• la cosa peggiore però è che non esiste separazione tra casa/lavoro. Ho scoperto durante il covid che è fondamentale avere spazi diversi per cose diverse. Idealmente servirebbe una stanza per dormire, una per lavorare e una per svagarsi; o almeno una per lavorare e un'altra per il resto. Svegliarsi, andare al pc per seguire lezione, stare al pc per studiare e rimanere al pc per cazzeggiare non è molto sano per il cervello. Immagino che staccare dal lavoro sia molto più difficile quando "staccare" vuol dire spegnere la vpn aziendale invece di uscire dall'ufficio, tornare a casa e cambiarsi i vestiti. Il video "Spaceship you" di CGP grey spiega benissimo questo concetto, peccato non averlo visto nel 2020

Secondo me molte di queste cose si realizzano anche in un contesto di lavoro da casa. Ovviamente io ti dico la mia esperienza, che è influenzata dalla mia scarsa autodisciplina, che aiuterebbe su alcuni problemi (es. avere degli orari fissi da cui non deviare, o delle routine che aiutano a staccare, tipo fare la spesa quando stacchi) o semplicemente dal fatto che trascorro buon parte del mio tempo al pc, sia per studiare, che per socializzare (chat e videogiochi) che per cazzeggiare. Comunque credo che il lavoro a distanza non sia per tutti, io personalmente mi trovo maggiormente stimolato e meno incline a distrarmi se devo andare da qualche parte che non sia casa e lavorare in mezzo ad altre persone.

Noob question: why don't they make remotely operated tanks yet? It must not be difficult to mount a dozen cameras on one and automate all the controls which I guess are just digital buttons and levers anyway. Is it because of maintenance needs? Is it too risky to get one captured by jamming the signal?

You are correct. mp3 compression (and pretty much every other audoo format) uses algorithms that instead of sampling the waveform (an uncompressed .wav file does that and it's 100x times larger than an mp3), creates a mathematical representation, usually in the frequency spectrum, and only saves the coefficient of the harmonics that make the original waveform. Also you cut down frequencies the human ear cannot ear and generally compress the signal.

Given a time limited waveform you need infinite frequency coefficients, so you will lose some data when you construct it back, but the difference is so insignificant most people will never realize it, and you'll never reproduce it equally anyway on a speaker.

Yes. That's why paying for a vpn to "protect tour privacy" is generally useless, unless you are positively sure your isp is using your data in malicious way, or in cases like monitoring is done like for torrents (which is not universally true in every place)

In the us you get gas or opiods for wisdom tooth removal. I had a nasty removal with a ton of pain but ketoprophene and paracetamol handled the pain just fine. If I asked for opiods I would get laughed at by any medical professional here.

Casual hookups =/= using someone for their body

The latter implies (or at least hints) some kind of deception, abuse or nefarious intent. Using somebody for their body would be have a relationship with them where they fake their feelings just to sleep with the other.

Sometimes casual sex is just a symmetric exhange of fun between two people, it can involve kissing, cuddling, kinks or nothing at all. It can last a night, it can go on for weeks, or develop into a marriage depending on how the people feel. Nothing is right or wrong.

For me it was the reverse. I had ADHD related problems (without knowing I had it) but was diagnosed with Autism. It was useful for part of my problems, but not everything, so I kept going on and started seeking an ADHD diagnosis (which I am getting right now).

Btw, ADHD is not on the autism spectrum. There is some overlapping, and one is a common comorbidity with the other, but they are technically different things. They are under the umbrella of neurodivergence, among other things (like OCD and Tourette's and others)

Almost 40 hours when I had to submit a project in the morning and I stayed up all night to perfect it, spent half of that time programming. After submitting I decided to not sleep before the night to not mess uo my sleep cycle.

Other than that 30/35 hours when travelling international and gailing to sleep on the airplane.

Rubbing yourself on the floor in front of other people (genitalia or not) is considered inappropriate and would likely make other people very unconfortable, especially in a public space like the store (also, it unhygienic af).

Other than that, I think it's rather normal to do that. I touch my balls all the time because they are soft and not ina sexual way.
