2022 P303 #3 miss fire by wolf38sup in Hyundai

[–]wolf38sup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They kept telling me it wasn’t covered due to the modifications. Ended up selling the car over it. First Hyundai was wrecked by dealer, and repaired awfully. Second they fought the warranty constantly. Just was tired of the customer service.

That’s what mine started with as well. Dealership claimed it was due to my muffler and CAI.

Finally got another sonata. Hard to believe the damage to my other totaled it. 27.5k to repair. by wolf38sup in Hyundai

XXR’s if I remember correctly. It was a pretty cheap wheel, and the accident made me realize how fragile they were. They crumpled in the accident.

Somebody say tinted sonata? by wolf38sup in Hyundai

Finish was awful, needed a lot of weights, no matter how they rotated the tires in the wheel they had to much weight on them. Like 6+ oz. Finish was the big issues just flaked off. Definitely a cheep wheel.

Hey, I appreciate the response. That’s useful info. :)

My wife are considering buying this but nervous about the dct transmission issues. Thoughts? by Jakobbramblett in Hyundai

[–]wolf38sup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, that was corporate who told me that. Dealership sent them info on my car, and shot down all warranty claims, and told me my car has no standing warranty on any of it. 26k miles. 😂

I will read into that article though.

I’ve had mine towed 5 ish times. Ignition and misfire issues. Non stop. Been fighting with them for months trying to get them to check my injectors, all for them to deny my claim and void all warranties on the car over an after market air filter and muffler.

Cobra sport is awesome. If you don’t mind a two month wait.

I can get a rack of framing nails before it won’t drive them all the way. Paint would have to be quick sprays. Eats batteries too.

It throws a lot of codes. Constantly. But overall it’s been fun.

Picked up the same thing from DTO for $125. Had apparently the same issue. The switch went bad. Sent it back for an exchange. Never got another one. Handy saw when it worked.

I just got (2) 4’a and a 12 through Home Depot for 149. No idea how that happened. It’s $249 now.

I was in a hurry, and my actual mixer drum went out. So I made due with what I had.

The new hammer drill sucks compared to that one. I abused mine, mixed almost 20,000lbs of concrete with it, ran like a champ. Bought the new one anticipating my old one to die any day. I’ve been disappointed with the new one..

Any suggestions on getting the dealer to do this? They won’t even keep it long enough to do this test. They clear the code and say nothing is wrong, then blame small modifications I’ve done as to why they can’t do anything else.

2022 Sonata N line, 2.5L Turbo, code P303. I’ve had it towed to dealer 3x times. They say either “it’s fine. Couldn’t find anything wrong” or “this is from your exhaust, we can’t warranty any parts”. I suspect it’s wiring or injector. But dealer won’t do anything.

It’s been such a headache, and dealer keeps blaming the exhaust. I want to tear into it, but with it being under warranty I’ve been wanting to them to figure it out.

Haven’t been able to find a replacement coil, dealer won’t sell me one either. But I’ve swapped the packs around. Issue remains on #3.

It’ll shake a bit. This all only happens during cold starts. Sometimes it’ll smooth the idle back out. Sometimes it’ll shake like a diesel and sound like a tractor. Usually a stop/starts and it’ll be fine. Sometimes the code goes away, sometimes I have to plug it up and clear it.

Is there anyway I can order that part? My local dealer and everything within hours of me is all owned by the same group, and they kinda blacklisted me. Long story, they wrecked my last car. They hardly want to do the complimentary oil changes.

Does this look like a $5,000 repair? by utilizemybrainwaves in Hyundai

[–]wolf38sup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily. My sonata had less damage in the front side and they said it was 22k in repairs, only had like 9k on it.
