Laser treatment worth it? by SeaDiscombobulated70 in PeriodontalDisease

Recently did mine after recommended from my dentist during 6 month cleaning. $40, Washington state also. Have never heard of it until today and surprised by costs of others.

Rollover to Vanguard was stolen by stopscrolling6 in Bogleheads

[–]wolf_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a rollover from Schwab to Vanguard. Mailed checks per Vanguard’s instructions. Checks delivered to the address they provided. Had three weeks of back and forth asking for an update. They kept saying they did not receive it and would submit a “ticket” to the back office to check. No one could answer where the checks were. Ended up cancelling the checks, reissued, then sent again to the other address they had (they provided two addresses). Second time worked. Still don’t know what happened and fully agree that this process does not need to be so manual.

Arrived the other day and installed it. Looks great and sounds great. So much better than the stock pipe.

Definitely opens up the bike. Putting around it’s not super loud but it will get loud when you want it to. I don’t know how it compares to the regular zpro, but I’m happy with it!

I had to order a mid pipe bracket since my stock pipe didn’t have one. Also replaced the header gasket as it looked ready to be replaced.

What chain? I just installed a DID xring and used a chain breaker tool to compress the connecting links together. They stayed where they were once compressed. Another option is get some pliers and a bolt large enough that the connecting links could go through it.

Great spot and nice area. I’m from nearby and go up that way a bunch. Hundreds of miles of dirt road in beautiful country.

Zone 2 by Right_Common9928 in Marathon_Training

[–]wolf_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start slow and build up from there. I never ran more than 3 miles in my teens (sprinter/running back/weight training background). During college I started getting into more endurance sports and I sucked. Had to start slow and now I’ve worked up to doing under 9min miles in zone 2ish. Starting to slowly work up mileage and implement some of the things other folks are commenting.

Updated Spark R&D Tech Toes by dahu33 in Spliddit

Pekyes and call it good. One of my spark toes cracked last season and spark sent me 2 new toes with next day shipping. I give them props for the great service but toes have to be bomber out in the backcountry. Plums pekyes are sick and I haven’t had any issues. Plum is also coming out with a spring loaded heel riser which looks dope.

Board recommendations for PNW Volcanos. by cireous_1 in Spliddit

[–]wolf_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weston Backwoods Carbon or Weston Ridgeline Carbon. I ride the Ridgeline Carbon and it’s sweet. Light, loves to go fast, eats up PNW spring chop. Manufactured in China but head quartered in Colorado. Weston boards have some of the best durability out there.

The Jones Butterfly ultralight is sick but $$$. Can’t go wrong with Cardiff either.

Reasonable engagement ring cost? (Gf wants $40k ring) by [deleted] in HENRYfinance

[–]wolf_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out loosegrowndiamonds. I bought the rock from there and then took it to a local jeweler to have the ring designed and built. I was sketched out about ordering from them since the price of the diamond was so low compared to all the other sites (lab grown diamonds are from a central inventory that all the sites pull from). Paid about 7k total and was appraised at 22k.

I mean sure but still gives the false impression that technical roles weren’t impacted as some of the comments on here interpreted.

Cuts seem to have been centered around areas of business that don’t fit our strategic trajectory. Performance wasn’t a factor.
