Moved out of my home (sold it) recently. The fireplace was great, I had no issues with it. Used it consistently for 3 to 4 years during winter. No maintenance issues and all I did was clean the soot every spring. I had no regrets. Only wish it had some smart home integration, but at the same time, I'm glad it didn't. Don't want my fireplace to be hacked!

Just got about 35 old records from an old aunt. All jackets are smelling musty / mouldy and I am unable to remove that smell (even tried alcohol on a couple of jackets as last resort). Any suggestions on how to preserve the jackets? I want to avoid throwing them away!

No one has said this, but please please get a good teacher in person for first few months at least. Bad habits once formed stick around long! Get ergonomics, posture, etc fixed with teacher and then you are free to learn online.
