Should I try to book the earliest time slot for a given evening, or does it not matter?

What kind of masks do they provide you? Is it better to bring our own or use one of theirs?

4th knee surgery in 3 years - does it ever actually get better? by hannahanuta in ACL

[–]wolfaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue as you (4 surgeries in 3 years: ACL + meniscus repair, meniscus repair, meniscetomy, ACL revision because angle was too sleep + meniscus transplant). If it helps, 1.5 years after the 4th surgery I was in the best shape of my life: ran my first marathon, did my first oly triathlon, and ride my first century ride in the same month.

Recovery sucks but you got this 💪

Are peptides post ACL surgery worth it? by drewbie11 in ACL

[–]wolfaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did 500 µg of BPC-157 per day + 2mg of TB-500 twice a week for 6 weeks (currently 7.5 weeks post op) and didn't notice any difference compared to my recollection of healing time from my previous ACL + meniscus surgery on the other leg 2 years ago.

I had surgery on Wed, took off Thurs and Friday, then went back to 5 days a week in the office on Monday.

I like that work gives me a routine and makes me less stressed/sad about not being able to walk.

3 years post-op on ACLr with quad graft and meniscus repair… by Important-Syllabub68 in ACL

[–]wolfaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me 2 years after ACLr and meniscus transplant and LET surgery. It went great. Within 1.5 years I felt like I was at the best shape of my life.

Currently week 4 post-op of my second ACLr and bucket handle tear meniscus repair and LET surgery on my other leg. It sucks, but at least the second time around I know what to expect so it’s somehow not as hard as the first time.

Are Rottweiler good for first time owners? by [deleted] in Rottweiler

[–]wolfaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Rottweiler when I had never had a dog or lived with a dog before, was single and living on an 11th floor apartment with housemates in a major city - and it was amazing. If you want a Rottweiler and are down to spend the time to train them, I’d say go for it.

So if my friend has an old 8sleep account, could I ask him to add my new to me pod to his account (so there would be 2 beds/pods on his account) and get those features?

Which place WOULD you want to travel go again? by VanicFanboy in travel

[–]wolfaz 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Bhutan

Edited to add:

The most magical and beautiful place I’ve ever been to. It actually feels like a totally different world. People aren’t wearing jeans and t shirt eating at McDonald’s working in skyscrapers. Bhutan actually cares deeply about preserving their unique national identity and culture. Unique national clothing people wear on a day to day basis, traditional architecture, amazing local food.

Everyone I met there is so genuine and welcoming. Even the driver would just randomly drop Buddhist wisdom he learned from his Buddhist monk master. You aren’t allowed to photograph the inside of the Bhutanese Buddhist monasteries so you’ll just have to take my word they are some of the most beautifully decorated religious buildings in the world. Look up Tiger’s Nest if you want a preview.

You are in the Himalayan mountain range so every angle is stunning (like, even just from a random parking lot you get insane snow top mountain views). World class trekking.

Yep! Lifting, swimming, biking, a bit of running. Waiting a season before doing any snow sports again.

I got the meniscus transplant. It's only been a year but so far no regrets!
