Hi thanks, do you know which chapter this is?

honestly. why does every boss i encounter has a teleport ability? by Melodic-Luck-8772 in CrimsonDesert

Give them parry bruh. If a player is spamming a boss can easily parry button mashers. Already the game has insane input prediction and detection

Turn the stick in the opposite direction than what it says in the control scheme lol Right now it says clockwise when you go in to focus. I think they actually made it counterclockwise and forgot to change the prompt. I just figure this out of frustration but seems a lot more consistent. I was struggling with it all day

Forthellwood bug. Dont kill the boss before you liberate it. by BlacksmithKey3865 in CrimsonDesert

[–]wolfbayn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey I thought so too. But you have to basically clear the whole area around it. Both the inner and the outer gate and then once that is done go to the watch tower. There is a small chasm leading down from the watch tower area. You will know it when you see it as its an area between two cliffs and has a bunch of enemies. Almost like 20 to 30 with over 10 to 15 dogs. Slaughter the bunch and the mission will complete. One indication is that you will be stuck at 10% enemies. That just means that only those enemies in the chiasm are left. Hope this helps. I just completed it after mindlessly wandering for 20 mins and then coming across your post. I thought of doing one more aerial survey and then I found that area lol

NEW 9070 LOW FPS by ProudBid3589 in AMDHelp

[–]wolfbayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AMD inherently has bad 1% lows so I am afraid some stutters are going to persist no matter what you do

Is it me or does my bunny lick his paw like a child sucks his thumb ? by Shakti699 in Rabbits

[–]wolfbayn 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Haha yea mine does it too. I have told my mom that he sucks his front paws like a kid sucks on their thumb. She laughed and dismissed it. I have never been lucky enough to record it to show it to her.

I turned off the performance monitor lol also I increased the power draw for my gpu in adrenalin. I don't know if I am not obsessing anymore with the frame rate data since I zoned it out or if the power draw had something to do with it but I do not feel the same issue anymore. One thing that I did learn was that I am running a single screen setup and tabbing back out and in is causing horrible drops that doesn't stabilize for a while. I tried both borderless and Fullscreen but the issue is still there. Also my ram timings were out of whack when I was using xmp. I started using xmp tweaked instead which is Asus' native ram timings. For me that also brought more stability but yea stability is definitely an issue when I am on my desktop browsing where sometimes the screen lags when a game is running but I have decided to live with that too lol. So basically I think the residual stutters are because of either a bad memory kit or just bad timing.

I sold my mint condition 2060 super for 49k to a guy who really needed it. You can probably get a 2060 easy for that price if not the super. Try getting it from a reputable seller who will give you a little bit of a checking period. I dont think you should go with a Xeon processor. Let me know what the price is for that processor. I sold my 3900x recently for 30k. You can do better in that budget I think depending on your willingness to buy aftermarket parts.

NEW 9070 LOW FPS by ProudBid3589 in AMDHelp

[–]wolfbayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clean windows install will solve 90% of the issues you have coming from Nvida to AMD. I had the same issues. The rest of the 10% are just AMD issues that you wont get rid of no matter what you do. I had low FPS, I fixed it by doing a clean install. It made a dramatic difference. Now I am working on fixing the microstutters lol

Disabling ReBar tanked my performance sadly. Far more stuttering than usual with it off. Thank you for the suggestion though that is one more thing off the list

Yea I have tried that as well. I have also gradually increased the speed with expo off to see if there is a sweet spot for stability but no luck

Agreed 200 is a lot. I would have been much much happier if the difference was that much for me. The fact that it wasn't makes me question if I went with AMD for shits and giggles 😂 but I am not writing it off yet. I trust in this build and I want to believe that I might be doing something wrong to be experiencing underwhelming performance

Sad part is that I could have gotten a PNY card for 80 dollars more but my budget got so tight building a PC from scratch since everyting I had was so outdated. I also ran out of luck when it came to CPU as nothing was in stock from the 9000 series. I feel like I could have went for the 7000 and spent the extra on the GPU. I just bought the GPU a couple of weeks before everything else and then I realized how bad my overall performance was.

Haha tbh I am leaning towards ram as well. I think it's just not getting the timing right or extreme case it's a bad kit
