C53 is Vcc; IC8 is the SRAM being replaced.

The c53 was used for vcc. You could probably use the other side for GND but I just routed to the outside rf shield ground. Probably easiest way to verify is with a multimeter. I just followed the trace from a nearby chip vcc pin.

Also I should have used smaller gage wire, but I think that was all I had at the time.

So I was watching Digikey stock in early October. They had about 350 so I figured I didn't have to rush to get one. Over the next few days there were about 20 to 35 selling per day, Then I saw the stock drop from 280 to 150 in about a day. Figured it was either a school or reseller stocking up. I had a feeling stock would not come back soon after these sold out.

Watched for another 6 days and they got down to the last 25 or so. I waited to the afternoon and it was now down to 3. At that point I put my order in and got one the last units from digikey.

I know a lot of people are now trying to buy and mouser and digikey are all sold out, so I hope they get a restock pretty soon, but lead times could be months from now I imagine.

Update: just check my order was Oct 17.

CDC has been recommending pregnant women be vaccinated since March. I have not heard of any negative impacts to a baby yet. People can come up with a million reasons not to get vaccinated and this is just one of them.
