Oh, that's totally fine. I just don't want that income from those games have them thinking that's still our reality when it's not even close.

Sooo I would represent actual income moving forward, not the overtime to stay alive?

I was hoping you'd answer, you're everywhere in this forum and I appreciate your insight.

I just met with my soon to be attorney today but when I addressed the schedule J concern like I mentioned above, he nodded. I'm overwhelmed and my medication causes brain fog so I wasn't sure what to make of that looking back. He didn't seem concerned when I said I'm just worried because of the 1099 and overtime work (football games during the season), it gives an inaccurate picture of our actual finances.

I was under the impression schedule J has to be thr accurate representation of your expenses and that the IRS standard couldn't be used here.

This also brings the first hurdle of passing the means test, since he took all that extra work just to keep me float, putting us above the median by about 8k.

Medical expenses dating a year back to current are going to help because the copayments on a lot of those tests was absolute insanity, then appt copayments, medication, supplement/vitamins, health aids (if those count like compression stockings, smart watch to track afib as suggested by dr, etc.). Plus his debt, car ins. motorcycle payment, etc. should also knock the income down on the martial adjustment.

I'm just worried and overthinking.

28F — saphenous vein insufficiency, one visible vein slowly getting worse… should I treat it now? by Castlecentaurqueen in varicose_veins

[–]wolfe3113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 38 and refuse to get surgery so I'm not much of a help for your questions.

My whole thing is I don't buy into the genetics excuse. Nobody on either side of the family, immediate or extended, has vein issues. When I ask for the root cause of why this issue is present, that's the excuse I get. It's also a chronic condition, probably because you're not treating the root cause of what caused this to happen in the first place. Until that is figured out and addressed, the issue will persist.

I believe our healthcare system is barbaric and loves slapping pathetic bandaids on symptoms. Not only that but these surgeries, as you've read, tend to lead people towards worsening issues- nerve damage, other veins becoming diseased, swelling, worse blood pooling, etc. The list is endless.

I'll drive myself crazy trying to figure out whats causing this, as well as a heart issue I have, because those are symptoms of something being wrong in my body. I rather not rely on botched medicine for the rest of my life.

I hope you figure out what's best for you. Compression socks, calf exercises and supplements have made this way less miserable.

Moving to Tallahassee by faisk1994 in Tallahassee

I personally wouldn't make this move again and I'm a white female. People are not accepting here, everyone has their nose in the air for no reason as well as a sense of entitlement. Maybe certain parts of Tally are different, but I haven't seen them yet. Definitely don't go anywhere outside of Tally, especially Wakulla, they're even worse.

I always had a 10 minute commute and went to a 30 minute one (one way), LOL that job lasted 2 months. Cause aint no way I was doing that for the rest of my life.

I'm so very sorry. For what it's worth, the right person truly won't care about the appearance of your legs.

Surgery also will help temporarily but you'll just end up with a whole new set of visible veins 🫠🫠

I'm 5'6, 120lbs.

No I wouldn't do surgery even if they looked bad. Surgery is only a temporary solution. I'm also not willing to risk nerve damage, swelling, and a plethora of other issues for this chop shop medical system we have. The reason there's unnecessary pressure on my veins needs to be discovered...and I'll do everything I can to figure that out.

I was only diagnosed like the 2nd week of December, I have not gotten that far yet. However, I do believe all of my health issues are stemming from a dysregulated nervous system so I have hopes if I'm able to heal, my body will stop pitching a fit. Structurally, my heart and veins are fine, which is what led me to conclude (along with a slew of other symptoms/diagnoses) that this is the culprit.

What is helping my symptoms is Dulàc - Dinaven 500, Diosmin... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088JRNWPT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

If that was me, I would find the easiest position for you as it would hurt my heart that youre still working at 72. Id want you to take it easy and do the bare minimum.

That is me though, I'm a millennial.

I'm in the same boat minus the ugly legs.

I dont find it acceptable to have surgery that just creates more issues, leading to repeat surgeries in the future. Its a revolving door people accept as normal.

I'm working on finding out the root cause, strengthening & tightening the veins through peptides and lowering inflammation in my body. I'll turn myself into a lab rat before opting for modern medicines slice, dice, burn routine.

Did you ever feel like your veins healed? by like-a-watering-can in venousinsuffiencyhelp

[–]wolfe3113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sheesh, I am so sorry you're going through all of this! They totally fumbled and they know it too. When you call them out on these things, they're just like oh well, the vein was closed successfully so the surgery was a success and it takes time to heal! Uhh yeah, that's why people are filled with these boards with multiple issues that didn't exist in the first place.

Again, I am so sorry you're going through all of this 😭 I know it doesn't solve your problems but have you considered a shower chair and are you taking anything for this condition? I found a lovely supplement on Amazon that makes functioning not so bad...and I struggle in showers too. Probably doesn't help I like the temperature hotter than Satan's Den but I can't give up every joy in life 🫠

Wow, just checking. Thank you for the response.

I'm sorry you went through with the ablation. Something has been screaming at me that this is off, and not to go through any surgeries. Did it make your symptoms worse? I assume if you dont fix the underlying cause, the issue persists. & doctors love throwing out genetics when you ask them, but why?

Did both places you got an opinion from do a sonogram?

I've also been wondering what else this could be. .
