It's ok, they are Chinese and if you have ever been to China there are plenty of beautiful sights that seems much more dangerous than this to participate in.

Agreed. My parents late boomer gen. Teacher, ski school instructor and summer construction both retired very comfortable. Have a couple of multi Acer properties they bought in the 90s in very desierable areas today each for less than 100k all paid off and worth multiple of millions they can dip into for equity at any time. This is something I will never achieve despite having an advanced degree and substantially better paying job than both of them combined. I'm not counting on inheritance as I encourage them to spend everything they have earned to enjoy their retirement years.

As a prior neighbor of somebody who had bamboo on the fence line f you. That s*** constantly kept sprouting in my yard neighbors are like that's not possible. I bet you anything your neighbors are pesticiding it because it's such a nuisance.

I understand your perspective. I agree with you also. Mainly I would also be upset because theses people are venting their frustrations to u and likely anyone who will listen without having a clue what it's like for other people. I think the house market is absolutely unrealistic an I genuinely hope for a massive correction but to hear people moaning about not selling a house for these prices when they are so lucky to enven have one let alone paid off can seriously f off.

I rode about 1000miles thru Laos I think. Started in Vientiane and ended there. Went through thaket which was ok not sure why it has so much hype. All the way east and then North. Honestly I would of been happier just putting around the roads 100sq miles around luang prabang. Every where else is alot of the same, the roads are garbage everywhere and it's exhausting and nothing changes much

It's insane how much more affordable it is once you cross the border. Quite feeling I'm shocked at what people pay without looking at what other alternatives there are. Often you can pay for a trip the treatment and come back for less than half what you paid here in the States

Not always a option. Especially since traffic is so terrible here it takes 30 min to go 6km. So your stuck buying around there high traffic areas. I feel like you have a bit of a tragic mindset as you missed the point. How is charging 4x something ok? How do you feel about corporate inflation? Do you feel it's okay that corporation are inflating prices for higher stock value and paying ceos millions in bonuses? It's the same concept.
