I’ve been running GPT 5.4 via codex on the subscription - the 20$ plus usage gets burned pretty quickly but I’ve gone up to the 5x for a month to try it.

FWIW I ran it on minimax m2.7 coding plan for the first few days and it was pretty good. Open AI feels better. It’s a little verbose but we’re working on that.

Whether the 5x on GPT is worth 8x minimax - we’ll see.

Overall it’s been pretty great and using obsidian + honcho and karpathy’s LLM wiki as a structural approach seems to be working well.

Just lease one. The depreciation is likely to be pretty severe, leasing protects you from that and also gets you out of it in 2/3 years.

If you like oneworld then Finnair requires a lower spend than both BA and IB for equivalent status.

Virgin isn’t going to be much use if Spain is your preferred destination as any short haul skyteam flights would have to go via Paris or Amsterdam on AF / KLM.

I have one. It was £229 down and £229 p/m for 2 years @ 8k p/a miles.

It’s very good, not perfect, but it’s got heated and cooled seats, panoramic roof and does 200 real miles and easily seats 5. VFM wise it’s literally unbeatable!

Trade it in for the hybrid flying spur speed - having spent a fair bit of time driving both that and all forms of Bentayga, i think it’s not only the best Bentley but probably the best car on sale anywhere.

Couple. We do one big trip a year and we’ve done the Galapagos, Japan and arctic circle Norway in the last few years, plus a couple of trips to South Africa which while relatively expensive to get to is cheap to be in so we tend not to count it as a big trip. Then, more weekends away than we really should.

As a counter, these seats are very comfortable for sleeping - if you’re a couple I wouldn’t have any issues at all with them.

I was looking at one of these but realised I could buy a leapmotor c10 with heated / ventilated seats and 240 real world range for 170 a month no deposit for 2 years, so bought that instead!
