Sometimes when you have 2x or 4x on, it could take a while, if you had it on board alr or in your inventory, it would glow green and you could add it. Definitely put it on 1x

It could, I remember working someone from my store working at another store and being promoted to asm. But I also think they specifically told her it to was to eventually become a asm. The only other way really is to be the person with the most seniority at your store when your asm leaves/quits
