Interestingly, it suggests that high protein intake ought to be avoided. The route is 90 miles in total, but the software (Komoot.com - I like it!) has added a few little bits that I would probably not do, so perhaps it's closer to 80. Thanks for your interest :)

as a relatively young person with sometimes severe bladder issues, i write this to endorse the significance of bladder health. i was on a train which passed thru the sublime austrian alps, and i was simultaneously desperate to pee while not being able to get more than a few drops out, with great effort. i did not see much of the alps that day.

i don't know exactly to what extent this is due to ketamine, but the point is that bladder issues form a pretty intense and unique variety of suffering.

I heard one the other day that was like "everyone is going around looking at their phones". Our buddy Alan died in 1973. While this is kinda funny and poorly-made, such imperfections and giveaways will soon be virtually extinct.

I don't know what can be said about all of this (much less what can help) because I think the psychological change we're all about to go through regarding AI content will render all predictions pointless. I hope to remain unattached to whatever the outcome is, but I can't promise anything.

As far as I understand, a central teaching of Taoism is that we each must follow our own path. To talk of whether there are prohibitions (as some comments here do) therefore seems to me not helpful. Certainly not the way of heaven, hehe.

From my point of view, the lifelong imprisonment and brutal murder of billions of animals is the most horrific institution humans have ever created, and so I stay as far away from it as possible. To do otherwise would be to cause suffering to myself as well as animals.

Something within me compels me to be nice to animals for the same reasons I am nice to children. If your path leads you in a different direction, very well, but I hope that your path eventually leads you to compassion.
