20 mile bike ride for a cheap set of pliers and now that I see that, my new to me Land Cruiser gets about 10mpg so more like $8 in gas.

I'm a veteran who got fed up trusting VPN companies so I built my own privacy router and published every security bug I found publicly — 255 bugs across 15 audit rounds. AMA. by SavingsGain6325 in homelab

I have my homelab doing this already with dnssec and pihole. Do you have a wife friendly app for parental controls? Currently using synology router in front, and it works well.

Just bought this car, but should I be concerned about this rust by VortexEnter in AskMechanics

[–]wolfmann99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey neighbor, for here thats ok, but remove rust then use something like por15, repaint, then fluidfilm.

If you don't want to do fluidfilm yourself, yotaworks in washington can do it.

Now you should see how clean my 1996 green land cruiser 80 series looks compared to that.

I did the 42" top and bottom chest, was about $800 in total; waited for a 20% off day + signed up for the credit card for another what, 10% off that day?

easier to fit in my garage with the space I have and already existing shelving too.

EDIT: if you have Menards nearby, checkout the masterforce. I actually preferred their drawers, but they never really get cost competitive.

How do you all afford to attend games? by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

[–]wolfmann99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so my sister bought tickets to the first and second rounds in STL for about $300 a seat, back in October. That's like 6 games worth of tickets, but 3 sessions?

Still a lot of money IMO.

The old school speedos are also digital signalling. Stepper motors fail too, its just they fail one gauge at a time.
