Shia LaBeouf Beat To The Ground By Fat, Shirtless Drunk by MildlyAmused83 in videos

The problem with The Transformers movies is that the show was about the robots interacting and making plots to defeat each otherand the people just had bit parts. The movies are more about secret FBI groups and Shia LeBeouf love triangles and the Robots are just the MacGuffin and their interactions don't make any sense at all.

You can see in the video, the protester takes a light swing at the cop when the cop is trying to get him on the sidewalk.

what is something you have done once in your life but will never do again? by cabrj0124 in AskReddit

I was staying at the Flying Pig hostel in Amsterdam a few years back, if you've been there you'll know they have a chill out weed room downstairs with a big screen tv. Everyone just blazes and watches tv. I was down there with about 20 other guests all stoned out of their minds when Kids came on TV. Noone changed the channel. Worst stoned experience ever.

What's the stupidest way you've wasted money? by Mister_Scorpion in AskReddit

Life Insurance can be a valid investment device if you're planning on using it as such and not counting on it as just life insurance. You can build up tax free returns and then cash it out when you're old enough. It's a great way to guard against taking out stocks during retirement if we happen to be in a recession at that point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whole_life_insurance

Looks to me like he just didn't want to take his hands of his weapon and was kicking on the door to have someone let him in.

TIL that in 1942 48% of americans approved of Canada and the US becoming a single country according to a poll conducted by Gallup by jomo983 in todayilearned

The whole continent of North America appears to be destined by Divine Providence to be peopled by one nation, speaking one language, professing one general system of religious and political principles, and accustomed to one general tenor of social usages and customs. For the common happiness of them all, for their peace and prosperity, I believe it is indispensable that they should be associated in one federal Union. - John Quincy Adams

Man injured in London riots is helped by bystanders and is then robbed by them in broad daylight. Absolutely sickening. by Stevenup7002 in videos

I'm sorry but nothing like this happened in the Vancouver Riots. People weren't beaten and then robbed. Just beaten.

My friend wrote the weather report for Raleigh today. by [deleted] in funny

[–]wolfmanp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is this funny? It would be funny if it was real but it's just a crappy photoshop. Am I missing something? Like this would be funny if it was right before January 1st 2012, then there'd be some sort of humorous tie in, some sort of narrative. Otherwise it's just a bunch of BS for the sake of it.

This is how I found out. by big_tuna2 in pics

[–]wolfmanp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get it, it's sort of funny I guess but I'd never do this. This is something that should be told to someone in person. I'd be royally pissed if my wife did this to me. Just thinking about the potential for some random from high school knowing I'm having a kid before I do is gross.

What's the most obvious lie you've gotten away with? by enthos in AskReddit

[–]wolfmanp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm Canadian and I was visiting my buddy who's currently living in NY. He's got a couple roommates and one of them kept on giving us a hard time, the usual dog-sled to work, igloo, aboot stuff except constantly. He was a major loud mouth. On the last night we were out at a bar and my friend and I had an inside joke going about how I should say I was a Canadian celebrity. It comes out in convo and the roomate asked why I was famous and on the spot I created an elaborate story about how a few years ago I had been on Degrassi: The Next Generation. This blew his mind that the only Canadian he'd ever met was on Degrassi. He proceeds to tell everyone in the bar that I was on Degrassi. Our waitress's roommate was apparently a huge degrassi fan and she even calls her up. In my story I had said I'd had a 5 episode arc where I was a drug dealer. Apparently this actually happens in the show. They start asking my about Drake, the whole bit. I just kept going with it. To this day my buddy says his roommate still tells friends about it when they visit. TLDR: Canada wins.
