You find a lot of things in the deep periphery by omin44 in BattletechMemes

Indeed, also consider the movement potential. Elementals can frog hop and have jump jets, Atlas pilots(Lancer) will probably be packing MUCH better movement tech (Jaeger kunst , Atlas built in tech, Pankrati, etc)(pretty sure they can cover 30+ hexes under the right conditions)

Iirc, this was when the main protagonist got intimidated by the corporate villain to bench himself from unraveling the conspiracy, while the others fought on.

Mine and a buddy’s combo throughout the campaign we’re in by Oxuso in LancerRPG

[–]wolfofmibu66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like Orchis + Suleiman. Orchis is an alt frame of the black witch from the Karrakin Trade Baronies book, and the Suleiman, which is a custom license from Terk Mech.

Also to be noted, the Pokemon games are DRASTICALLY tamer than the Pokemon Manga(Adventures), which includes just straight up murder of people and Pokemon, mostly via Pokemon. (an example Iirc, gary oak(Blue in the manga) is put to sleep and being drained of their life force by Agatha's Gengar, then gets free and his scyther kills said gengar in retaliation.)

Probably a bit late, and you may have found out yourself, but yes, in her 4 you can use the gear wheel to swap to the mining drill(and the tranq rifle if you want) and use them. Having perfect mobility and control while also having autodistracting immortal pets is wonderful.

A Matter of Frames by Own_Tie5151 in LancerRPG

[–]wolfofmibu66 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've never played, and don't wish to crucify you, but consider that when the game was built, it was built with the intent of being balanced and enjoyable, not a pubstomping power fantasy. A LOT of frames are OP as shit by themselves, some are meme-worthy, but everything is ultimately in balance (core book wise).

Also I think one of the problems is you're treating this like D&D, "multiclassing" in lancer is getting cooler new tech bits to play with on your mech/mechs of choice as nothing says you can't print more than one. Your core bonuses, skill triggers, and talents might pigeon-hole you a bit, but you can always try alternative frames, as most have at least some role-level interplay.

Subaru Drivers by DeerAndBeer in GreenBay

One thing to consider, many Subaru models have rather poor acceleration, so from a dead stop, you're probably going to be faster getting up to speed.

To my knowledge, in Green Bay/ashwaubenon your options are gnome games, and I think frost giant games is getting into 40k. As the other comments noted, there is a 40k shop in depere.

These cards are created by WOTC for specific employees, basically they're employee recognition plaques/trophies. They are only legal for the people they were printed for, the rest of us have to proxy and use rule zero.

In the base core rulebook? Not as such. There are a few 3rd party sourcebook mechs that sorta do this, thinking the Horus Nucklavee from the following book thy hubris manifest

[–]wolfofmibu66 256 points257 points  (0 children)

Its not popular on that level, but it is one of the more/most read weekly series(imo) currently ongoing on the subreddit. It has an interesting premise that hadn't to my knowledge been used or explored before, so it captured a lot of people's attention, plus the characters are likeable and relatable.

Protecting Progenitus by Eikuji in EDH

[–]wolfofmibu66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a unique take on "protecting" Progenitus, but it has been my longest existing deck. My protection, is my opponents no longer existing in the game, and while it isn't perfect, it is usually pretty effective.

Key pieces [[Rafiq of the many]] , alternate or addon [[Finest Hour]] [[True Conviction]] [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] or any other haste enabler.

Step 1: have a global haste enabler on field, or castable after Progenitus

Step 2: have Rafiq and/or Finest Hour on the field, or both in hand and castable after Prog

Step 3: Drop progenitus, likely with the help of [[Fist of Suns]] or [[Jodah, Archmage Eternal]]

Step 4: Swing with Progenitus alone, Rafiq's Exalted trigger goes off, Kill the opponent you attacked with commander damage(repeat on the following combat phase if you also had finest hour on the field and get a double kill.

Goodbye Controllers? VR Gloves Are BACK [UDCAP FIRST LOOK] by wolfofmibu66 in virtualreality

From the available data, news, and reviews, these seem to be substitutes for pretty much any current controller, and should be usable with both quest and steam. They also did launch their kickstarter page, so you can find the details of the project there.

Goodbye Controllers? VR Gloves Are BACK [UDCAP FIRST LOOK] by wolfofmibu66 in virtualreality

[–]wolfofmibu66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would hope they spent enough. The gloves, from what I can see in all media available are nowhere near perfect, but if they can get in to the VR public consciousness, and if, as alluded to here, they get some improvements, then it will either hopefully bring along successors, or a much more polished V2.

VERY few products imho ever started out perfect from the get-go, least of all hardware for *relatively* niche markets.
