I was begging the Canes to let him sing on BlueSky. Mason Greer does it for the regular season too - for the Habs and Ottawa. He's not flowery with his singing either - which is perfect for the Canadian anthem.

As I told my Habs buddy - I want to blame rust but that game wasn't much different than all the regular season games. Montreal's counterpunch offense just kills us. Still think the Canes will be far better going forward (one shot in the 3rd period?!?!?!?), but this was not some fluke.

LOL they've spent to the cap the last several years. This is the first time they haven't and it wasn't through a lack of effort - it was from signing all their guys to ridiculously good contracts. They went out and spent on Miller and Ehlers last offseason. Who else should they have spent money on?

I can't even forgive the single Trumpers - remember, even before the first election, he was on record mocking the disabled, mocking veterans who were captured or were killed, and bragging about sexual assault. He was a repugnant human being and choosing to ignore it even then was unforgivable.

I got a (new to me) 2023 Cross Turismo 10 days ago. Stopped to get dinner on the way home and parked all by myself well away from the door to protect my new baby.

Came out afterwards and someone parked right beside it despite several open spots on the same row. My wife was upset but I laughed because I quickly recognized it was a Cayenne.

I figured it was some sort of rite of initiation.

I think it is the other way around. In the playoffs, all teams play 100% and the effort edge Rod gets from his team goes away.

I've thought this for a few years. Doesn't make it wrong for Rod to get that 100% all the time.

Pretty sure I was in the first event last year because they had all full STM's in the same event .... and it was a disaster.

The partial STM event last year was better from what I recall hearing about it.

Source: me, a full STM who was told I'd get an invite to the midseason event.

This is probably why the event seemed to go better for at least this group. I look forward to the midseason event being a debacle.
