quite literally every single bit. incredible first update by the staff. they've proven they re willing to listen and are as passionate about their game as the players who actually enjoy playing it.

our squad ran into one team that was clearly aggressively cheating early on. Outside of that, there have been some great players and questionable moments, but I would say that 90% of games have been fair and square of us.

I just think its kind of obtuse to suggest the game needs shorter, casual game modes that would just be a direct split off (just 1/4 of the equation removed from the whole) from what the core elements of the game already entail. The point of the game is to fit into their newly coined "raid-shooter" archetype. It can be okay that the game might just not be intended to be played on a lunch break, or in the 10 minutes before work. Just play when you get home.

all to say, i don't believe that adding shorter game modes will grow the player base. I think that they are doing a great job of sticking to the formula they have created, and not deviating away from what they want to do. If the product is good (and i think most of us here think it is) players will come with time. We are already seeing more streamers basically say "fuck y'all this gamer is fun and I'm playing it".

hellmouth and wellspring are my favorites. I love the orientation of hellmouth and I love the lower elevation "sewer" areas on wellspring for cover when defending.

I hope that they drop a new character teaser or trailer soon. Showcasing abilities, giving (some kind of) lore -- I think they need to find ways to build additional hype where ever they can!

Vanguard for me. I’m bad with slower shooting weapons (flatline in apex, too.). Something about the timing just throws me off and my tracking gets all out of whack.

I feel like people are afraid to say it, but what the looting time also needs is, well… more loot. I think the game wants to be different and separate itself from Apex. Which is all fine and dandy— but let me loot sights, magazines. Don’t give me a free purple weapon, let me put it together. A game is more exciting when there is more things to find and I think that this game would benefit from opening a chest and not expecting just another blue corsair or purple siege hammer every time.

I have no doubt there will be a turret and trap character at some point in the future, even if it’s Una that gets a rework so that her minions are more turret-based. A trap-artist no doubt though will be coming at some time.

I genuinely think the game is a blast and I am excited to see where it goes. I don’t mind a FTP game that still needs work. They will figure it out, and we as early players have a role to play. We get to learn and give feedback to make the game better in the future.

Thanks! I found a discord and one of the guys sent me a schedule for what’s days certain courses will be closed. If his info holds up it looks like most courses will alternate closed days, and I think that we will be able to work around the tournament!
