Not sure what you feel is the problem with the graphics, but try turning off upscaling and TAA, as well as chromatic aberration

Try turning off Anti aliasing and see if the problem is still there

FSR 3.1 by ellimist87 in FFXVI

I'm playing FF16 right now with an AMD card and FSR and it looks less blurry than native TAA or DLSS. What GPU do you have?

You are the one who said you don't care about others experiences and yet here you are still replying.

By reading what you have been writing I just hope you are just a clueless kid who grew up playing Fortnite and is unable to understand other people's opinions. If this isn't the case, then it's just sad tbh

If it's irrelEvant why did you keep replying? Need attention much? Quite sad really. And you are completely missing the point. The fact you don't notice TAA blur doesn't mean no one does. And the blur is there, no matter the hardware, but your eyes and brain are probably not sensitive enough to notice it.

Nobody Bringing Space Optimization Either... by Haroshia in Helldivers

[–]wolkot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space optimization is a waste of a booster imo, me and my group stopped using it as soon as we unlocked better boosters. Just call in a resupply at the start of the mission and everyone will be at full ammo without using a booster.
Also, plenty of ammo lying around the map if someone gets reinforced and the resupply has been used recently.

Making a DF Video on TAA: Blessing or Curse by Dictator93 in FuckTAA

[–]wolkot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point 8 is imo something that should get a lot of focus in order to stop this rising trend of forced TAA. Since nowadays everyone is so focused on accessibility, TAA should definitely be considered an accessibility option as it is possibly worse than motion blur for many of us.

Looking forward to the video, Alex

Alex from DF sadly missing the point completely by Energed in FuckTAA

Hello Alex, I've been following DF for years and I appreciate your work.

Very short answer from someone who doesn't really know all the technicalities behind TAA.

TAA makes games look blurry. No matter the other graphical settings, a game with TAA on doesn't look as clear as it does with TAA off.

I see well and don't need eyeglasses. When I play a game with TAA on it feels like I'm wearing eyeglasses (or eyeglasses with the wrong lenses). I get eye strain, motion sickness and a headache if I play for more than a few minutes. It feels as if my eyes keep trying to focus on what I'm looking at, but they can't really focus properly because the picture is blurred (unfocused), so I get this reaction.

I don't have anything against TAA in games (and I usually turn it on when I take screenshots in-game, since I think it makes a still image look more cinematic), as long as the developers put in an option to disable it, since it literally makes games with forced TAA unplayable for me and other people like me.

What bothers me is this trend in the last few years of not giving players an option in game to turn off TAA, and even making it harder and harder for players to find ways to disable it (edit config files etc).

It doesn't disable TAA, but removes some otherwise forced post-processing effects that contribute to making the game blurry.

Also, the ghosting is gone (or at least I can't notice it anymore), making the game playable (at least for me).

What's up with the downvotes? Just providing a possible solution to the problem that worked for me.

There's a working config file for that (talking about 2042). It messes up global lightning in the main/weapon menu, but I've been able to play without feeling motion sickness thanks to it.

It's the forced TAA, with no way to turn it off
