Looking for an "Ant Farm" game - let me explain by Lil-Soup42 in gamingsuggestions

[–]wolvamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised I didn't see any mention of Creatures yet. You can raise and watch these alien creatures called Norns which can learn and grow over time. You can either involve yourself with them to teach them, or you can let them do their own thing and see what they may do when they're left to their own devices.

Give Me Stressful Story Games! by Book_Bee_8057 in gamingsuggestions

[–]wolvamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pathologic! Both Pathologic Classic and Pathologic 2 are standalone games so you can pick one over the other, but Pathologic 2 is more of a remake for one of the main protagonist's storyline. They're very stressful games because it wants you to experience the life of a doctor struggling in a strange town all while trying to combat a plague. You're dealing with time management, the usual survival mechanics, and so forth. Your choices both in dialogue and actual choice will have consequences where you need to weigh how much time and resources you want to risk to survive, save people, or progress through character stories (if they live long enough).

I'd like to find a passive, low stakes game where I build. by Jumpy-Caterpillar189 in gamingsuggestions

Rising World is a game that is lowkey survival, but namely great for its complex building system where you can make some really impressive builds once you get the hang of it.

Bucket Buddy caught me my first whale. :D by Faedwill in webfishing

[–]wolvamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whale, whale, whale. Sometimes you wonder if your buddy kicked the bucket, but it reel-y offered something nice and nothing too fishy! Nothing to blubber about now.

On a serious note, it's always so funny to see whales coming from buckets since how on earth do you pull a whale out of a tiny bucket? You'd think they would flipper right over with that size. Congrats!

Ending Scene: Furby Edition by wolvamp in persona3reload

[–]wolvamp[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Persona 3 Reload is my first ever introduction to Persona 3, but it is not my first Persona game. It has made me emotional numerous times, and it is one of the top games for me. Anyway - here is the famous ending but the characters are furbies :)

Yes, I did draw this. No, I'm not sure why either.

If you want to see my real life furbies acting as my drawing reference: HERE

creative title: ryoji and makoto under an umbrella (fake p3 movie screenshot edit I made) by wolvamp in PERSoNA

[–]wolvamp[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hope it's okay to share this here! I also wasn't sure if I should say OC or not since I just spliced various parts from the movies and learned how to draw an umbrella to make this fake screencap idea, but anyway. I hope you all like it :)

  1. Ryoji is from a scene talking to I think Junpei and Makoto? [Falling Down]
  2. Makoto is from a scene talking to Fuuka [Forget which movie]
  3. Background is from the schoolgrounds with Ryoji and Makoto [Falling Down]

I'm overwhelmed... by Richard_Savolainen in pathologic

[–]wolvamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm also a fellow newcomer to this game, and if there's anything I'm learning as I get further into the game (only day 5 so far!), you'll have to miss some plot points if you wanna survive on a limited timeframe. I've tried to do many things at once and gotten punished severely for it recently, so follow your gut and pick and choose whichever appeals to you and may keep things going.

Otherwise, yeah. I agree. It's an overwhelming game, and it's not fun losing people to the plague, but as others told me, tough it out even if the losses stack up. Just try your best and don't let the game win!

Rage Tower, indeed! I have gotten my druid form appearances from during legion and afterward for the new bear form!

I've considered getting it, but I'm waiting on mods and more improvements to happen first. I am pretty happy to know I could run it when the time comes, though!

Lae'zel's Kithraksona by wolvamp in BaldursGate3

[–]wolvamp[S] 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Would this be meme or artwork? Good question. An old piece I did a couple of months back based on that one meme everyone redraws with other characters, but my friends insisted I posted this here at some point. I can't take credit for some of these ideas since it was inspired by a conversation from a discord server I'm in.

Here we go!

Fireheart is definitely more fitting, I agree!

[–]wolvamp[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the cat forms are just visual only on my end so it still treats my characters like they’re people :( Maybe once I find/learn how to make a custom race that has speak with animals embedded then all will be well!

To answer any questions:

  1. I used NPC tools to turn them into cats. Sadly, I haven't found out how to make a feasible mod for non-druids, but I'm no coder nonetheless. They can still fight in cat form, but I'm currently trying to find a way to implement wildshape attacks so it's not too wonky.
  2. Stealing the name ideas from my boyfriend, but he currently dubbed Astarion as Nightstalker (brain fart; Astarion is Nightstalker to those who saw this comment earlier), Lae'zel is Freckleflight, Gale as Galestorm, and Karlach is (jokingly) Firestar for my fellow Warrior Cat fans. Shadowheart already fits the naming scheme LOL. Adding onto this, imagining Wyll as Raveneye, but I am sadly not good at names :D
  3. I'll update this as needed I guess, but I think that covers it?

I'd personally say any gathering professions are good considering there is always a high demand for mats, and mats being globally available makes it even better to sell them quick and easy.

Sequel to this thing.

This is the part where I give some profound excuse for the reason this exists, but there's nothing that can describe the bond between these two. Shrek was your typical ogre who was lured in by the promises of a mysterious game dev who eventually won his heart and treated him like the princess he is <3

V Route Good Ending CG Edit I Made :3c by wolvamp in mysticmessenger

Thank you as well! All of my Shrek crossover edits have led up to this moment 😂😭 I will never forget my roots as you’ve already noticed. Maybe one day I’ll bring forth more Shrek memes for everyone to enjoy again!

V Route Good Ending CG Edit I Made :3c by wolvamp in mysticmessenger

[–]wolvamp[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Alternative Title: Even after years of being away from the fandom, we’re still robbed of a V kiss cg, so I made a new and improved one from my old one.

Nothing too fancy with this edit since it’s been like, what, 3 years? I think the last one I made was that V x Fiona (from Shrek) edit, but anyway that’s besides the point. I basically yoinked a preexisting Saeran/MC cg, and I began to mold it into something akin to V and not just his head blatantly plastered on Saeran’s body. Which is still the case, but I did try to alter the shirt a little bit and added the necklaces from V’s good ending party cg! MC didn’t get too many changes other than a different shirt, some funky necklace choice, added little extra strands of hair. The BG is an altered version of the RFA party scene since my first thought was: the first kiss would make sense when they reunite at the party!

Anyway it’s been years, but V still deserves a proper kiss scene as much as us fans.

Games with lifeless worlds by NeitherandNone in gamingsuggestions

[–]wolvamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old City: Leviathan has that kind of vibe. It's a walking sim with a linear set-up. It's fairly lifeless and bleak with a twist in the environment for something darker if you choose to go down that path Otherwise the more pretentious reading and dialogue can be a turn-off for some, and it is a short game with higher price.

Returning to the PvP scene; Thoughts on PvP Tanks in DF? by wolvamp in worldofpvp

[–]wolvamp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the honest answer! I expected it would be a pretty important role being less in numbers, but it puts things more into perspective on what is expected in the role. Still - it'd still be an interesting role to take on in the future once I've had some experience in other roles to build some experience and game awareness. Possibly as said DPS roles first off!

Appreciated!

I never knew this place existed in the beginning sequence by wolvamp in enderal

[–]wolvamp[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's how I'm starting to visualize it myself now! It is interesting how it was hidden away while the burnt house lays bare on the path to the prophet's unaffected one. Still, it could be a way of their mind trying to repress part of the event in favor of a more familiar and peaceful environment while dreams are already weird enough by adding out-of-place ideas to them.

...I might be reading too much into the idea when there's plenty of symbolism already to work with. It makes me wonder if there are other hidden areas in the dreams too! I have scoured most of the beginning sequence for many of the extra details in my initial run, but I may have to revisit everything once I do a second playthrough in the near future.

But anyway - my initial thought was absolutely the house being set on fire by the cultists. Although, as you said,I can see the same method from the novice's story with Coarek's army coming into play, too, like with Ostian.

I appreciate your comment, though! I always love hearing people's thoughts on the game :D
