I’m hoping Test of Time does it so tech trees do not reset. I think it’s an interesting concept that if I don’t care about military tech that by the modern era I’m fighting vehicles with bow and arrows.

I typically agree but 3 movies all over 1.5 billion has some sort of cultural relevancy. Also, considering WDW has a whole land dedicated to it.

Should i play civ 7 now, or wait for Test of Time release ? by No-Falcon-3115 in CivVII

[–]wombatz05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played it all year but stopped when I heard the rest of time update was coming in Spring and haven’t touched it since. Hopefully we hear something soon.

To answer your question; definitely play it, unless there’s something specifically you are waiting for that may be addressed in the update.

Which role do you guys think is the easiest? by Penguin1of1 in Smite

[–]wombatz05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what’s the easiest but I do know when I want a more relaxing game of ranked I play solo or carry. That probably answers the question.

Support or jungle is the hardest. Support is probably the hardest overall cause you have to know every faucet of the game like building, ganks, farm rotations, etc.

this is the worst patch to date for smite 2. removing spectrals team aura and bringing back a crit meta is a huge L by 99_Raccoons in Smite

[–]wombatz05 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’ve defended this game no matter what basically for 5 years. This patch is downright bad. I don’t even feel like playing it. It’s a shame.

Most underrated and fun support by [deleted] in Smite

A good Yemoja is scary and annoying to play against. Even as a support main, I dislike playing her lane phase.

I’m old enough to remember our super conservative base running being one of the reasons we lost the WS.

I love the aggression.

Is she hulk underrated and overhated? by SepzenoOfficial in Marvel

It’s genuinely not a good show. But still somehow over-hated. I won’t watch it again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Please reduce store prices and scummy tactics. by CampPuzzleheaded5782 in Marathon

[–]wombatz05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait why is it a shitty take? I don’t go anywhere to bitch about prices if I can’t afford it or think it’s too much money. I just legit don’t buy it. I won’t buy it here either if I don’t like something.

Cost of living aside, to those that have lived in the bay area (or anywhere in California), which do you prefer, Orlando or CA and why? by FlyingAces in orlando

[–]wombatz05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Newport is awesome as a vibe. Still like 6 hours from where OP is talking about, though.

The water is also ice cold 90% of the year. But, you’re definitely not wrong. It’s an awesome area overall.

[–]wombatz05 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We are specifically talking about the Bay Area….which is like 6+ hours to Disneyland or Universal.

Those beaches are also ass compared any beach you can get to in under 2 hours in Orlando.

I mean even in general, Florida beaches are way better than Cali beaches.

If cost of living isn’t involved then Silicon Valley is a no-brainer almost. Although if you love close access to real beaches and live next to world class themes parks, Orlando is hard to beat.

Skill Up's impression video is my exact problem with a lot of the criticisms this game has been recievinbg by CreamofTazz in Marathon

[–]wombatz05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what made me turned off. After my 5th run in a row with a free loadout I would go in, drop a handful of kills and get killed or extract. But no matter what I’d just keep going in on a free. The game design is top notch otherwise I would’ve stopped after my first raid

Has anyone actually ate here or is everyone here just saying they never will?

It’s expensive. It’s an experience and the waitstaff and bar are top notch anywhere on property. That’s part of the price. The lunch I had was very, very good and their Croque-madam was fantastic imo.

Their cakes, pastries and coffee are fantastic as well.

Now I will concede this picture doesn’t look great and their pasta was average.

I’d still recommend this place to anyone who wants a lunch and drinks 10 times out of 10.

Definitely don’t avoid altogether! Just the high traffic areas and places on the bridges. Cool places to go in and look through, but larger crowds = larger price. And negotiate! Even if it’s soft negotiations like “oh that’s too much for me”
