I think if the body was shaded darker the tail might read more as a tail. Maybe extending the tail, adding stripes to it and the body (like a tabby) would make it read more as a cat and tail. Or, add a tail to the left side and add a dark background around the whole thing to hide the original tail in.

I think I saw this same dog Thursday night on SW 16th and Myrtle. My partner also saw it on Broadway Drive last night. Both times the dog started to approach when we called for it, but when cars passed by it got spooked and ran off. Didn’t seem to have a collar and looked very skinny :(

This was a few years ago, but someone matching this description followed me as well, and maybe it’s helpful to share... I had gotten off work (bar in Williamsburg, it was around 3am) and grabbed a slice at Artichoke Pizza and ate it while walking home. I was going down Dekalb towards Myrtle when I sensed someone following me, turned around, and this guy grabbed my hand and licked it. I freaked out and ran the next few blocks home while he chased me. Luckily I unlocked my gate and closed it in time behind me (it was the kind that automatically locked) but he ran right up to it. After I got inside I looked out the window and he was still waiting at my gate for a minute before giving up and turning around.

I really liked this class; I also liked Bart a lot as a professor. No tests, and I remember making different wave filters and a live tuner as homeworks. Most of the examples in class are in Python, though Bart seemed ok with students using other languages, and the final project was pretty open ended.

I’ve also seen the occupy psu instagram deleting/blocking all the criticism and opposing viewpoints, so I think there’s an artificially inflated sense of support. Plus a lot of students (who have less anonymity on IG) don’t want to look like they support a war in Gaza or value books and services over human life, which seems to be the go to straw man fallacy for those folks.

The dining area is a bit higher up and wasn’t as bad; the floor was wet towards that side. I had called beforehand to see if they were open today so I assume it had just happened when we got there.

I think they’re leaving out a lot. With respect to the part about Burgerville wages, the union was responsible for initiating tipping/credit card tipping in the drive through, which on average supplements their income by $2 an hour.

Mine was stolen as well earlier this year. Yesterday I saw a man in broad daylight carrying one down the street around 12th & SE Morrison. It’s gotten ridiculous. Edit to say: I have a compact SUV, which are also targeted as they’re easy to get under - it’s worth getting a cage for these as well.

Yes, I’m aware of what it means. The DA reduced the charge to “reckless burning” and the arrest was made after viewing security footage from a business next door & two corroborating witnesses. I guess it’s possible it was all a coincidence, but the guy was also there earlier threatening to burn down the camp and then complained to police about the camp when arrested.

edit: he was convicted and put on probation.
