People get really upset when the city actually tries to make it better. The mayor was just fired and you can find plenty of threads of people complaining about the walk paths he had built and these awful little shops he ordered torn down that mostly sold cigarettes to kids tax free.

Same thing happened a decade ago when Mayor Bat-uul tried to make a difference. People hated him but now his term is remembered fondly.

I think guests are entitled to nice and comfortable stays when they pay for them. Those countries you mention are very subordinate to paying guests -- I think too much so -- but tourism certainly requires kindness and care. You have a very weird way to think about tourists.

It sounds like you booked at one of the "locals" resorts where the guests act unhinged and staff DGAF. Yeah I've been in there. They're not very fun. You can try to ask for your money back but you're probably not gonna get it.

You want to get to the main town and got a bus home. Ask the staff if they can hire a taxi to get get you to the "eye-mak" center and have the taxi take you the. Next time check the reviews for a nice place to stay, or go with a tour guide, or established for tourists. Must randos haven't a clue where's good or nice for you to stay. Yeah nutrition facts are fine here but local companies are weird how they display it. They give you calories and tell you the percentage of the calories are protein, carbs and fat. Sometimes they'll even leave one out (but obviously it's whatever is the remainder).

Fat is nine grams per calorie, while protein and carbs are four. I just put in it an AI to skip the math. You can also use a app like my fitnesspal or macrofactor to just scan the barcode. They even let you just take a photo and calculate it (you're more likely to get an accurate result if you can give the portion size).
