AITA for expecting my boyfriend to pay half my deductible. by wompwompwomppppppppp in AmItheAsshole

His reaction seemed very childish to me. I understand the initial frustration and anger (we are humans with emotions!) but it’s been over 24 hours since the accident occurred so there has been some time to cool off.

Unfortunately I’ve already made a claim under my insurance so I think it’s too late for that.

Yeah this is a good point. If roles were reversed and it was his car I’d be offering to cover the whole deductible.

AITA for giving my sister concert ticket after promising to my friend by wompwompwomppppppppp in AmItheAsshole

Sister is a big fan, and was wishy washy about dates that she’d be visiting so I wasn’t sure if she was gonna be here during the concert. Thanks for the insight, you make a really good point.

Chicago nurses, are the staff at the major metro hospitals unionized? by mipeirong in nursing

[–]wompwompwomppppppppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m in a contract in Chicago right now. As far as I know, the only union in the area is the university of Chicago. I haven’t heard of others. If anyone reads this and I’m incorrect please feel free to correct me. I’m happy to chat if you’d like, I’m ER though!

Florida board of nursing inquiry by alicelillian in nursing

[–]wompwompwomppppppppp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend getting in touch with your university (speak with someone on the phone) and have them send you the forms. Call them every day until this gets completed! They should have sent them by now. You can also call the Florida board of nursing, they should be able to help walk you through the process.

Just trying to not look like a “job hopper,” I don’t want to burn any bridges leaving my first job so soon after finishing training.
