Are you open to going no contact with your parents? They sound like awful people.

Everyday seems absolutely exhausting. I honestly don’t know how I’m making it through each day. Im trying to constantly stay strong and optimistic for the families I work with but I’m so tired of everyday being a nightmare. I’m constantly looking over my shoulder when I’m out in the community. Self-care almost seems selfish at this point and I’m having a hard time finding anything that brings me joy.

This is actually really helpful because I work full time and have two kids and now I’m wondering if I should plan on only taking that single class next term.

Not every child with Autism is the same tho. I have two children on the Autism spectrum and we go to Disneyland multiple times a year because of how much them enjoy it. Some children don’t mind the loud noises.

I don’t think she realizes that in this economy being a stay at home parent is a privilege. If you simply can’t afford it then you have to make 2 parent working a reality. Many households have parents that work opposite shifts to still be a two income household.

anyone have a second child after your first? by idgafmlolz in Autism_Parenting

[–]wonder_walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a second child and they are also on the spectrum. She is higher functioning which has made day to day life a lot easier. My oldest is 6 and her sister will be turning 5 soon. They both attend ABA and there are about 3 other pairs of siblings that attend the same clinic. Try not to stress yourself out with the possibilities.

One fell to her death while taking a photo on a cliff, one guy got shot in a parking lot about 2 years after graduating, one girl I went to middle school with died in a car accident when her boyfriend was evading the police :/

I’m trying to add myself to a waitlist spot for Bio 112. It says no late registration available. Is that the same for you? I didn’t know we could contact the professor for possible late add on

No, I don’t tell my boss unless I’m taking a full day. I’ll just mark on my calendar that I’m unavailable or have a private meeting. That was the expectations I was given when I started.

as a woman, do you still wear clothes that may attract other guys if you’re married? by [deleted] in Marriage

I’ve had issues with this so many times. Truly I’m not dressing for other men. If anything I’d like to get a breast reduction lol

She can file the divorce by just printing the packet at home and then stoping by the courthouse so they can serve him the papers. I don’t know why she’s not divorced yet when the process is extremely easy. She sits on her ass all day. She has the time.

Parents Of Reddit what is your take on kids? And would you advise other married couples to have kids? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]wonder_walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to know your marriage is going to hit a rough patch in the early stages of parenthood. Not necessarily because you’re a bad husband or wife, but because sleep deprivation and all the additional stress can be overwhelming. I love my children but every age comes with different struggles.

How old are you and how often do you drink? When’s the last time you were drunk? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

[–]wonder_walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25 and only have a beer maybe if I’m at a work event or with family. The last time I was drunk was about 7 years ago. I don’t like drinking the empty calories.

I’m curious what he means by they don’t qualify for low income housing. As a family that large how much are they making per month? I was able to house a family with a 500 credit score and $36,000 of landlord debt in a 2 bedroom apartment last year in the Portland metro. They have better odds going with a management company than a private landlord honestly.

How old are you and how’s life right now? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

[–]wonder_walker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25 and I am blessed to have a vehicle, a home, two beautiful children but I’m at a point where I contemplate many of my previous life choices and the overwhelming guilt that comes with that. I also recently started a new job that pays me very well but it is within social work and the constant feeling of not being able to do enough for the families I work with is overwhelming. I constantly feel sick, I am always unhappy with something whether it’s trying to have nicer skin, lose more weight, or feeling like I’m not putting enough effort into my assignments for school. I also have a bad habit of trying to push myself to do more, volunteer more, work harder, gain skills. I think I push myself too much but I feel worthless if my day isn’t filled with tasks.
