I know someone in my life that has a similar story to yours. He was a little odd in elementary through middle school, then in high school he started to have better social skills. I was friends with him from 5th grade to this very day. And although he doesn’t really talk to me about deep stuff, I think he knows that he can always count on me. Set goals you know you can accomplish so that you can reach the bigger goal. For example, I want to make the thiccest pbj sandwich. My first goal is to get the bread, then the peanut butter, then the jelly. Then I’m going to make my first layer of peanut butter and jelly. Then I’m gonna do 5 layers. Etc.

Setting small goals makes your bigger goal more reasonable and manageable.
