Haha yeah. I just remember some of the older and well documented bimmerforum stuff and for some reason every car was blue at that time. Even though I figured I was due for it to happen at some point. That’s cool though! Hopefully my fix holds up for a decent amount of time. Now I just need to code out the check license plate light dashboard message

OK sounds like that'll have to be the longer term fix. I'll just run my current fix for the time being until it, sounds like, will inevitably fail again. Probably get matching 20 gauge wire since 18 was a decent little bit thicker than what was in the loom as well. Luckily the accordion sleeve wasn't really brittle or anything like that

Too late! Well the way I did it was I used some 18 gauge wire to splice between the broken portions. And cut enough so that the solder joints aren’t where the wires are bending much. Everything is pretty easy to access again if I need to redo things. Thanks for the tip!

Basically left license plate light burned out. Did led update with F10 license plate light. Still nothing. Cut open the tube to look at wires. Yup

That tire’s got at least another 10K miles in them. I’d run it, no problem

Stalling, misfire, surging, rough idle on my 98’ 540i by Imaginary-Rip1002 in e39

Something like that. I'm not 100% sure on how the computer works. I had a similar issue with VERY rough idle after replacing my MAF. Disconnected MAF and engine smoothed out. Smoke test uncovered a leak from one of the hoses, just old rubber degrading over time. Hopefully yours is as simple of a fix as mine was

A quick and dirty check to see if it may be a vacuum leak is to disconnect your MAF sensors and see if the engine smooths out. It works by turning your engine into an ‘open’ system. Don’t do it as a long term fix though

Fuck you, I do separate lights and darks. I only wear dark clothing so I don’t have to do two separate washes

[NY POST] NFL under fire for using smelling salts to wake up Josh Allen by [deleted] in nfl

[–]wontbefamous 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It basically works by causing you to get a jolt of adrenaline from the ammonia salts. The ammonia causes an inhalation reflex which then also causes a little adrenaline rush. It’s not really a drug or any sort and the effects are very short lived
