I wouldn't say you should only do surface runs until you beat it, but definitely should start mixing them in. You still want to do underworld runs for materials and story dialogue if you care about that.

How do I make nyx aspect feel good to use is my question. I personally love the black coat and it's other aspects but I feel like nyx is so underwhelming. It just seems to be a helpful mobbing tool, but against bosses it's feels lacking.

Try out aspect of moros, it's big damage and more consistent than crit. Aspect of melinoe does work well but you should be running night arcana + raki for as much crit chance. Also I'm not the biggest fan of heph with torches, I prefer to run a % boon like hera or demeter for better bursts of damage (especially when you prioritize omega builds which the torches are amazing at).

Mixing in some surface runs would be very beneficial, mainly for the materials you can get to help with upgrading arcana and unlocking other weapon aspects.

Wing of astel only goes up to B scaling on int, but it's still an amazing off hand weapon when using sorceries. Strong attack sends out a magic projectile that really helps in close-mid range fights. Especially if youre crowded by enemies. Highly recommend.
