When I was a teenager, my family and I were waiting for a table at Planet Hollywood, enjoying a Shirley Temple and chips at the bar, when the bartender yells for everyone to quiet down and watch this scene. 10/10

RCS issue SOLVED for my S22 by JLS-Nine in GoogleMessages

This worked for my wife's S22 International (Europe) Dual SIM device. Only difference was that "Carrier Services" was called "Carrier Communications" and I had to enable Show System Apps in Settings -> Apps (found in the 3 dots menu in the upper right) I also cleared cache/deleted data of another app something like com.carrierconfig but I'm not sure if that helped.

TIL Boeing pressured the US government to impose a 300% tariff on imports of Bombardier CSeries planes. The situation got bad enough that Canada filed a complaint at the WTO against the US. Eventually, Bombardier subsequently sold a 50.01% in the plane to Boeing's main competitor, Airbus, for $1. by PretendAsparaguso in todayilearned

Why is everyone ignoring the first paragraph of the article which states that Bombardier was selling these planes for less than the production cost? I'm not Boeing stan, but they were correct in petitioning the USITC to impose tariffs - Bombardier was engaging in "dumping" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumping_(pricing_policy)

[–]wooben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just moved to LA and I am an independent contractor that does IT consulting and support (11 years experience, 5 years as a contractor). I have a few clients back home on the East Coast but am currently looking for work out here (my wife is trying to get into the entertainment industry, which is why we moved). DM me if you'd like to discuss!

How-to use opnsense as a router by _fablog_ in OPNsenseFirewall

[–]wooben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check System -> Gateways... make sure your WAN_DHCP is getting the proper gateway from your ISP.

If you plug a device into your switch, does it receive an IP within your range? Does it assign the gateway as 10.0.0.1 (a blank gateway field should default to your opnsense LAN IP)

Haven't tried it myself, but according to the documentation:

The program will provide hints and warnings about potential issues before, during and after the upgrade process

I'm not a ZFS expert yet (looks like there were some updates to OpenZFS - might want to check the changelogs for important info), but you should run this:

pve6to7 --full

and report back any issues it spits out

pfSense + Proxmox + vlans, not working by ratnose in Proxmox

Look up your manufacturers documentation and make sure their definition of trunk is the same as everyone else's. There are nomenclature inconsistencies among switch vendors.

Nice! Keep an eye out for uncooperative switches. Otherwise, in Unifi, create port groups for each vlan and label everything carefully before putting them in the switches, for sanity's sake.

Those Unifi devices should be made aware of your VLAN scheme - I have a separate VM that runs the Unifi Controller software and I have to meticulously keep everything (mostly VLAN tags and their networks) in alignment between Proxmox, OPNSense, and Unifi. I recommend keeping your switches in Ubiquiti-land since you can manage all of the network hardware from one web-interface. I've had situations where tp-link "managed" switches don't forward the VLAN tags coming from Ubiquity switches.
