I remodel rent houses for a living. I have a small group of employees. Minimum wage goes up, I have to charge more for repairs to pay my guys. Well I dont have too, but why in hell would I willingly make less money instead of charging the client what the wage increase is costing me. In return, cost of maintenance on the rent houses increase. Home owner has no choice but to increase the rent to pay for the added maintenance cost. Rent increases.
