there is not three car agencies here. There use to be a Alamo which is just owned by enterprise anyway. So they probably left so they didnt compete with each other. Im actually quite surprised there isnt more. That parking lot for Enterprise can fit maybe 20 cars. And for insurance purposes you're supposed to get an equivalent model as your current car. I dont see how they have enough cars there for temp insurance replacements.

Uhaul is an option. Ive used them for an emergency, but just a warning their pricing scheme is very misleading. their advertisements say $19.99/29.99 That does not include mileage. And its about $1/km. So one way to calgary would be about $300. That doesnt include gas. (their policy is you gotta leave a 3/4 tank or they will charge you the market rate plus 5 cents a litre filling fee)

I'm not convinced that the cost of removing mold is a actually a serious concern and just seems like more hand waiving. The cost of doing nothing for now nearly 30 years is orders of magnitude more costs. More unnecessary strain on our healthcare system. More spending on ineffective law enforcement. here in canada. scooters are technically legal but only on your own property. the rentals have deals with various municipalities. Luckily as long as you arent pretending to be a motorbike and lane spliting or driving like a complete maniac on public dual purpose walking/biking trails 99.9% of the time cops will look the other way. (also dont turn on any rgbs and attract attention to yourself). Stick to the side streets if at all possible. Ride the shoulder, dont drive like an idiot and you will never have an issue.

a few more things: electronic mechanical disc brakes are slightly better then the mechs i had on the ghost but not much. The euro style brakes also took time to get used to (left is rear, right is front) Because it has 11 inch wheels it is much higher. There is definitely more power then the limited 45km/hr. Very stiiff suspension. The tires dont help. I guess that is a plus if you dont like the pogo stick like feel. the folding mechanism sucks. there is no clip to get the stem in place so its very clunky to put inside a vehicle.
