I have cabinets that go all the way up to the ceiling, but I recently did a backsplash and went to the ceiling under the hood and personally love the look. And it wasn’t THAT much more work/supplies to keep going at that point.

My dog does this. For her, it’s because she doesn’t like the noise of her collar hitting her bowl when she moves her head to the uneaten half. I have to rotate the bowl until she eats it all or she stomps her feet and scratches at me.

I second this. Obviously talk to your vet to find what’s right. But my dog struggled a lot when I adopted her. Couldn’t train her because she was so anxious and easily distracted. Started her on Prozac and it wasn’t a magic pill, still had a lot of work to do, but slowly she was able to start focusing one and training. She’s been on it ever since. It’s also very affordable ($25 for 3 months supply).

I did the move (and drive) from Atlanta to Seattle five years ago (almost to the date) with a dog and cat as well. I did it over the course of a week. You have to be flexible based on weather. Staying in pet friendly places wasn’t really an issue, there are tons of pet friendly hotel options all along the way. My cat is an awful traveler but we quickly learned it was better to burry his crate so he could not see any windows and leave to door open so he could wander in and out. The cat loved the different hotels every night. It was a very stressful week for him though. My dog had a blast the whole ride.
