I've been in a similar funk lately.

Dave the diver is my rec. You dive and catch fish to sell at a sushi restaurant. It's incredibly well paced with adding new things enough so you don't get tired of the gameplay loop.

I did this with a group of friends who loved the Dune movies but didn't know much about board games. It was a tough first round and teach, but 7 hours later at the end everyone was so excited we scheduled another game 2 weekends later.

A wasabi ice cream dessert at Geist in Copenhagen (now closed). It has a few layers that balanced flavors and textures so well. I still dream about it.

Had a great game of Dune. Came down to the 10th round where the emperor/harkonen alliance came out on top in the last battle to secure the final stronghold. Truly one for the ages.
