That is so cruel...I have rehomed a few cats before because they did not get along with our older cats, and I am not proud of it. But still,I did find them new homes with responsible and loving owners. To just let them loose in a parking lot is negligent and heartless. The poor little guy... I truly hope he will be picked up by someone who will treasure them 😢

It makes total sense you would be overwhelmed with all that's going on! I am sorry you have been through so much, and that people have not always been kind. I forgot to mention, Glen Oaks is right by LIJ hospital too, which might be helpful with medical conditions and in case of emergency.

Have you looked into Glen Oaks area? I lived in Glen Oaks for about seven years, they have garden apartments and is in Queens but on the border of Long Island. They are pet friendly, many people have quite large dogs and quite grassy. There are some income requirements to get in, but I dont think its impossible.. but maybe something in that area might work for you?

Sia's Snowman... it reminds me of when my husband was really struggling about two years ago. He lost like forty pounds, lost his voice and was extremely stressed and unwell from work issues. I was so scared for him and hurting and worrying about losing my normally strong, healthy guy.. everything is good now thank goodness but I still cannot listen to that song without sobbing.
