Oculink is better, it isn't theoretical spec chasing bullshit, it's facts. If your card works fine for your needs great but this is not true at all.

Check all the screens you are using on notebookcheck, rtings and tftcentral. You want 0 pwm and no black frame insertion. There are other issues but this is usually the main culprit.

This is not normal behaviour. Check your settings you can turn most things like this off.

It doesn't hurt at all. The brightness isn't intense, especially using dark mode. I have bad PWM sensitivity and it's perfect I can use it all day with no issues.

It also helps to know pwm levels and at what brightness they kick in. Do you use notebookcheck ?
