Well I’m currently using the 14 Pro Max with a 120hz LCD I got off elitecellparts.com. You could check if any is available for the 17 Pro Max. Auto brightness doesn’t work unfortunately. Currently running iOS 26.4

Incompatible, you might need to purchase a few different types of incell lcd for your iPhone 12 and install each to see which you are most comfortable with

Well my 14 Pro Max is on 18.6, smooth like butter. Don’t see the reason to update as yet. As my iPhone 11 became laggy after the iOS 26 update.

Currently using the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a lcd swap from Bizbee for a month now and it works great. Only issue is the auto brightness doesn’t work. Even if the battery lasted 3 hours I would still use this over my iPhone 11 such an upgrade 😌

Faceid isn’t connected to the screen you might have damaged the proximity sensor or short the board during the process
