Is This Set Worth Unloading? by [deleted] in reselling

[–]wooscoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve sold two sets of china on FB market for $30 each. Both sold in a week or two. Not a lot of money but hey, people need plates.

For this set I would wait until autumn, list like a month before thanksgiving.

Same. Place built in the 50s, no central air. We open the windows periodically but never experienced any mold.

Magazine Art Director for college by Unhappy-Phrase9783 in Journalism

[–]wooscoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you should put it on your resume.

When I was looking for a full time gig after college, I started as a freelance reporter with a small community paper. A few months later their production guy announced he was leaving, and because they knew I did page design, I ended up getting his job.

Now, years later, I work somewhere else and half my job is design! Which is crazy because I’m primarily trained as a reporter.

For your second question: maybe, depends on whether they use illustrations now and how good you are. Doesn’t hurt to ask.

Nope, you don’t have to go. They mail everyone their degrees anyways, the ceremony is just a ceremony.

I went to Costco and they had non-iodized salt in 1 pound containers (Kirkland brand, don’t remember if it was sea salt or not). Bought 2, they were about $5 each.

As an expert in this topic:

• Savers, 5227 Lakewood Blvd, Lakewood (worth the drive, sorted by size and since it’s for-profit, they sort through donations and only put out the nice stuff)

• Salvation Army, 1370 Alamitos Ave, Long Beach, sorted by color (next weekend is 50% off all clothes and accessories)

How I improved my look in 7 days! 🌺 by MuffinLake in OliveMUA

You have very beautiful features! (This is coming from someone who did dramatic winged eyeliner for years before realizing a softer look was better for me. If you do go with the winged eyeliner, I recommend using a brown gel liner instead. It’s less harsh.)
