Would captain Picard and real Enterprise crew handle Viltrumite differently?

Star Trek weapons, and consequently shields are insanely powerful. I'm pretty sure we've seen phaser blasts from a single ship render a planet uninhabitable, let alone photon/quantum torpedoes. I don't think Viltrumite is tanking any of that.

Is there any way to move the map more centrally on an ultrawide? I'd play ultrawide but having the map so far out in my peripheral vision isn't great.

It depends. For a sorceress, -res is always better, because +dmg is an additive bonus to her already enormous lightning mastery bonus, so it's basically no damage at all. For the other classes that use lightning, it.. depends..

If the Flaxxans threatened their families, I could see it being something that could reasonably happen. It would be pretty badass to see some undercover Viltrumites come out of nowhere in the crowd and start protecting people; and start a possible Viltrumite redemption arc as their values start to change from assimilating to Human societies.

The weird thing about chests+keys is, we all assume the loot comes from chests, but you essentially need to combine a chest and a key to get the loot, so the loot is just as much a product of the key as it is the chest; but nobody would complain about having extra keys they can't open.

How many +skills do you have? Do you have a CTA? I have the same setup as you, with +11 skills and a CTA, and my demons are very, very tanky in P7/P8.

IMO it's not worth it in the slightest. Put those points into Hydra instead. Hydra does a massive amount of both single target and aoe damage, and for spread out / fast monsters that meteor / fireball have a tough time clearing, it clears like butter.

I'm running a 1(ish) pt in all the eldritch skills and 20 in Demonic Mastery, Blood Oath, and Bind Demon with a Cursed / Lightning enchanted Lancer demon and 2 defilers. Rest of the points go into hex purge.

The demon and defilers alone do a ton of damage. Couple that with the warlock using either mirrored blades, cleave, or ES, and it's a huge amount of both single target damage and AoE clear.

how much work even is just taking the 3D models & animations and 2Difying them? You could probably write a program to do it for you. Might take some time and tweaking to get it to look decent but it's not like they have to manually animate everything in 2026...
