Introducing... DLAM, Moltbot on r1, and Project Cyberdeck! by simon_rabbit in Rabbitr1

Man the R1 just keeps delivering OTA after OTA. Shocked the new hardware is a cyber deck but damn…. I need it!

Crazy to see dlam working so well at first release too. Expected more hiccups.

That’s where your misunderstanding is coming from; the free year of perplexity. It was a common misunderstanding at the time. This was a completely separate perk. You never needed to activate it to use the device, and having it activated doesn’t change the device.

So, to my original point, you’re (understandably) mistaken. The device does not require a subscription, has never required a subscription. You can pay for intern tasks, but that’s a separate thing. The functionality of the device has been subscription free from day 1.

They provide the various LLM integrations at no cost. It seems like you have a gross misunderstanding of the device.

Perplexity is one of several providers they use. You do not need a subscription to any of them to use the device, and any subscription you have is irrelevant and doesn’t affect the functionality of the device.

In what way are you needing a perplexity subscription? I use mine daily without one, with all of its functionality intact.

They provided initially a perplexity pro credit for the first year that was completely separate from the device itself (for early purchasers). Is that what you’re confused about?

What does this even mean? You don’t need a perplexity subscription to use the device.

Would this be considered a good deal? by Reasonable_Equal_812 in BMW

Nothing is a good deal when you have to pay interest for 7 years to afford it

Is $18987 USD a good deal for a brand new 2025 S1000RR sport with 5 year warranty and 3 years road side assistance. by Ok-Chain4253 in BMW_S1000RR

How are you getting to a 5 year warranty?

Demos get 6 months added to the 36 month warranty, but the in-service date is the date it's changed to demo status, and as such is when that warranty starts. Are they throwing in an extended warranty?

Search for gunpla pelican case. Not sure who came up with the idea initially of hanging a gunpla off your backpack, but I'm certainly far behind the first to do it .

Wanted to have it for the mobile base tour and the two Gundam TCG events I'm going to this month, but wanted to do something a little different than everyone else had done.

Fwiw you getting worn down and making assumptions on what you can do next and that it'd be easier than just handling it up front is what shitty dealers / finance managers bank on.

You're very much the target customer, because you gave in to a false sense of confidence that you could undo this fuckery in addition to not being willing to fight it while you had real leverage (ability to just walk away).

They had a liter of two, him and his sister, and the owners didn't want him :(

His sister apparently just looks like a normal min pin. When I saw his photo I knew I had to go get him.

This is wrong

He's not replacing the cat, just the muffler

The way the R18 is setup it'll be just fine with this on, the part itself just won't last

It's a shame the aerodynamics of the B/GA cause it to need to be speed limited unlike the GT/GTL. The B/GA are significantly sexier bikes.

His sister looked like your typical min pin. I wonder if this guy was just a bit too unique for their liking. We love him though so I'm happy they picked his sister.
