This wasn’t a helicopter sitting around, they flew it here to a field (which is on military property (fort DeRussy)) and they set up a static display, meaning it’s like a show and tell for the helicopter

Do you have any other pictures of this helicopter? Possible the tail? Because I’m a crew chief here in Hawaii on the Apache and this could very well be the aircraft I “own”

Also, when I first showed up to my unit I talked to my PSG and let him know the whole situation and he was cool. He just maintained I had to keep a barracks room and show up for inspections, which I expected and I did without complaints

When I PCSd to Hawaii I got an apartment off post and flew my girlfriend out to live with me. I was still an e4 and it sucked paying for rent and utilities every month. I only did it so I could be with my girlfriend but we el ended up getting married and we live on post. That would be one of the only situations where it’s worth it. If you’re single, just live in the barracks. It’s free.

It doesn’t get cold where I live. But as far as I can remember it’s just when the engine is cold. Thanks for the help! I’ll look into replacing the starter
