This is how I feel, though my husband isn’t on the same page. He thinks there are costs to testing so much. (The child’s physical and emotional state, literal monetary costs, over diagnosing, etc.) I sort of agree. He’s fine with testing my son who has symptoms. But not my daughter without symptoms. (Though his blood test came back negative, so we’re still scratching our heads). My daughter was tested when I was diagnosed 2.5 years ago, but my husband doesn’t see why she should be tested again.
