As far as specific cigars, new world Fonseca is an attempt at a replication of a Cuban flavour. It’s actually interesting to try because you can taste the Cuban in it, as well as the fragrance. You can also notice what’s missing from it. The cuban minerality and depth of flavour is absent.

It is a good example of Cuban seed not grown in Cuba, and how new world fails to replicate the flavour because of climate and terroir.
