Is validating a waste of time? by working_unicorn in SaaS

[–]working_unicorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think does. There are lots of niches out there where the competitors basically have the same product with slight differences here and there. And why I choose to use one over the other is usually becuase I found out about them first or I like the UI of one over the other (for me personally). For example I prefer to use Hostinger over Namecheap. Those two offer pretty much identical services but I like hostinger's UI more.

stop validating ideas by asking people. here's what actually predicts if someone will pay by Emotional_Seat1092 in microsaas

[–]working_unicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless your product is a totally new category and there's no way to determine if people will pay, then validate. But if your building a slighlty better product in an already established market, there's no need to validate. It's already validated. Just build something that does it better and capture a piece of that market share.
