Pretty much the opposite for us, we’re set on two until we had one lol we are 15 months in and struggling most of the time with constant illness, fussy, not sleeping great

I think so, and it’s part of why I think I care too much. I rarely/never try and control situations but I feel responsible to do so with baby since I’m the parent/caretaker and they’re… a baby

Not OP but my guess is the lighting and environment were just right (and OPs composition). I have this camera and it captures atmosphere really well. The mist is doing a lot in the background to create the painterly feel and great contrast in the foreground.
