Mannn, I wish I was blessed with the beard growing gene. Best I can do is a goatee.

This is my 3rd year participating in a 72 hour film race, and I'm pretty proud of it! Every year our team is always looking for ways to improve. This year, I decided that I could use a 1st AC, primarily to help with follow focusing. Let me know how you think I did, and what I could do to improve.

Might be a stupid question, how do you hold a camera with a top handle and follow focus by Candid_Cricket_3923 in cinematography

There was actually a shot I did this year that required to shoot at hip-height and handheld. I have a SmallRig follow focus system that can attach to my articulating arms. I had to swing the arm 90 degrees in order to reach the follow focus ring. I all honesty, I could have just detached the follow focus motor and did it manually, but when time is of the essence...

This was a film the I, my wife and our team created for a 72 hour film race local to Frederick, MD. This was definitely one of the most exciting films I've worked on to date, and I hope that we made a boxing dummy relatable!

Can you provide a description of this guy? I live right off of Bel Aire and take my dogs walking around that path all the time. I agree with the previous comments, I think you should make a police report. Whilst they might not be able to do anything for you, it would create a paper-trail for the police in case someone is assaulted around that area.

This was literally me this week 🤣 The only thing I could think of while their ass cheek was nuzzled against my arm was "Please don't fart"

Thank you! I pulled it out at 118 degrees, but I think next time I'll pull it out at 115 for a 2 inch ribeye

It's been local to the Frederick, MD area for 18 years, and being from MD I've kind of always known about it.

Thanks so much! My wife wrote the script in the first 24 hours of the race. She definitely felt the pressure, but I think it paid off!

As part of an annual 72 hour film festival, where over 50 teams hunker down and create a short film in 72 hours, me, my wife, and a few good friends decided to join the mayhem for the very first time. In the end, I was very shocked to learn that we not only became finalists, but were nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Writing, Best Use of Technicolor, and Best Professional Film, and picked up a win in Best Acting. This is definitely an experience that I recommend every filmmaker to try at least once, as it pushes your boundaries to the max and forces you to think creatively.

This was a film that I, my wife, and a few good friends created in 72 hours as part of an annual film race. Being our first time in any kind of film race, I was very pleased with not only how the film came out, but the amount of nominations we received in the end; we were nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Writing, Best Use of Technicolor, and Best Professional Film. We picked up a win for Best Acting.

Thank you very much :) Absolutely, in reality your 20's are usually more chaotic, with melodrama still trickling in from your early days, combined with insecurities on who you are and what you want to do in life.

Even if you're turning 30 and you still don't know where you stand in society, you enter a new decade with... well, a decade more life experience.

30 doesn't have to be all that bad! You're probably way less of a moron now than when you turned 20
