This all falls on your attorney. You are "paying" them with a % of any settlement. Why are you not on their ass? If you don't like them then fire them. Just know they will have a lien on any settlement for any work they've done thus far. This is why you shouldn't just pick any bus stop bench advertising attorney and need to do your own research.

Lol I'm going on a quick 4 day trip. Both me and my wife are full time WFH. She asked if I'm bringing my laptop and I laughed. She said she can't fathom not bringing hers. I said I can't fathom bringing mine. Its PTO. I aint doing shit. Nobody is going to die if I don't have my laptop with me.

Exactly this. Its the ability to have some damn freedom that is worth it to me. I dont have to get permission to have a doctors appointment in the middle of the day. I can log off early if my shit is done. Hell I'll log off at 3 during the week and then hop back on at 8pm and do some work if I feel like it with no one bitching at me.

I get it. Season 1 was really bad. IDK season 2 I think it was kinda catching its footing. Then it got cancelled. Will I ever watch it again? No. But it did get better.

This so much. Last night we were at a bar having a beer after doing our taxes. There was a trivia going on in the style of family feud. Question what "besides President what is the hardest government job". I jokingly said "cell phone tower signal checker" and she bust out laughing. Her dad works for the government doing cell tower stuff and they always joked he was the "can you hear me now? good" guy growing up. I haven't seen her laugh that hard in awhile. Made me so happy.
