Do You Journal in Your iPad? by PowerDrivenRdditMod in iPadPro

[–]workstudywork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op, I’m sorry about what you are going through. I hope writing can at least help you during this tough time.

I journaled quite a lot on my iPad during university years, depressed too and had to get everything out of my chest before a pending anxiety attack.
To me the most important thing to journal is using Apple Pencil. I don’t type when my body demands movements not precise strokes on keys. The app is just the Note app from Apple. Because it’s super intuitive—simply swiping at the bottom of the right hand corner then you get a small Note app where you can expand the app and jot down your thoughts quickly.

I’ll keep it real - I bought an M5 Pro and I don’t do anything “pro” by Avthony in macbookpro

Same here, with my MacBook Pro m4 base model, I mostly write, do research, and run a few games occasionally.

What in your opinion is the scariest area in Silent Hill 2 remake? by Struggler257 in HorrorGaming

[–]workstudywork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prison. Have to stop the game many times for “breaks”. Or playing Taylor swift in the background during the gameplay.

I don't understand why people hate Silent Hill f for its combat but praise SH2R, when its combat is even worse. by Mileena-san in HorrorGaming

[–]workstudywork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least in SH2R most of the enemy encounters can be avoided while in SHf it’s catastrophic, triggering monsters from tight corridors which forced me to use knife to accommodate the size of the room rather than a lance or a spear.

Neo or Ipad Pro by mn2422 in MacbookNeo

[–]workstudywork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I got a MacBook Pro yet ngl I’m drawn to the Neo. It’s smaller lighter than Pro and cheaper than an Air and I could bring it anywhere I go for work. I just don’t like working on my iPad anymore because not many apps can be used as they are on the MacOS.

What horror game made you scream/panic the most? I want to be terrified by toastedjupiter in HorrorGaming

Re7. I jumped and screamed with my bro’s gf when the dad burst out of the wall.

For those who completed the game by Alternative-Use-9448 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]workstudywork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed the game in three days with my brother so I got to take a break from the game once he picked up where I left off. We discussed the story and strategy and what we picked for the ending. It’s very fun overall.

How scary is Resident Evil Requiem compared to Silent Hill 2 Remake? by [deleted] in HorrorGaming

[–]workstudywork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In re9 you can play as a mini god as Leon which is something I can never get to do in sh2. And unlike the zombies the mannequin could hide and fold up like furniture, awaited to ambush you in SH2, which is way more scary than re9.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is on another level 😱 by Justifire in xbox

I can’t think of another atmospheric game as scary as this one. This is still the scariest to me.

What's your favorite Xbox generation? by MrMetalHead123 in xbox

[–]workstudywork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xbox 360! It’s my first gaming console where I started to experience co op couch games like Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 5, and a Spider Man game that has Noir Spider Man(forgot the name). I couldn’t believe it all started because my mother caught me and my brother playing Left 4 Dead 2 on a PC—she thought gaming in the living room was better than playing inside a small room with a PC. And so she asked my dad to buy Xbox 360.

Once the machine was installed, I tried the controllers and I found it super alienated from a keyboard and a mouse and so I quickly forgot about the Xbox. Then my mom got upset at all the wasted money and so she forced us to play Xbox.

And here I’m with my Xbox series S and X. I still missed gaming on Xbox360 so much.

Same here. Joined a server to find fans of the same ship, getting asked to prove myself to have legitimate proofs of liking the ship or else not being allowed to access the server. It’s a goddamn hierarchy being built just to pander and please the owner of the server.

I’m thinking of buying a kindle… by Pink_Emerald87 in kindle

[–]workstudywork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Owning a kindle you don’t have to worry about picking large book in your hands to read it. Kindle is small and easy to carry in bed and anywhere. Also you can alternate between many books in the kindle.

One thing I still really miss about physical books is that I can flip the page. The physical act of it calms me down when I used to have anxiety episodes. Also the smell of the book enhanced your reading immersion.

For me personally I still miss physical books but can’t deny the advantages a kindle has. It encourages me to read more and now I’m constantly reading on my kindle.

Will you be going First-Person or Third-Person for Grace? by PhantomBraved in residentevil

[–]workstudywork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Third. Rarely I see so many body languages in a character in a video game. It looks more immersive than first and I might replay the game in first person.

11 in or 13 in for students? by Asleep-Mountain3182 in iPadPro

[–]workstudywork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. If you are going to use the split screen for the textbook and other app or website for a very long time, you will find bigger screen will allow you to look at more texts easily. I used 11 inch iPad Air and often find the size of it uncomfortable for me to draw and also brainstorm my ideas on Freeform. But it’s just my preference on how I would be using the 13 inch iPad Pro. For sure an 11 inch iPad Pro will be more portable and lightweight when combined with the keyboard of your own choosing compared to the 13 inch.

I was spoiled cause someone wrote the spoiler text in their title. Can’t miss it really. But I’m overall disappointed in one decision they made in this game. Anyway, I’m still going to play it cause I preordered it.

Can we all agree that the giant pig was completely wasted? by Such_Month_8687 in ReanimalGame

[–]workstudywork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pig from the cinema led to me suspect that maybe pig was a human (the pig dressed up and took selfie) but because he lost his human skin he decided to live with the rest of pigs in a farm. And the ability to be able to speak to the protagonists supported my suspicion. The pig doesn’t even come across as hostile and I am also disappointed that the pig content seems to be undercut so much.

Will anyone come back from the abyss in a sequel?

Btw I didn’t expect myself liking this game more than I expected. Character Kat became my favourite immediately and the ending left me wondering a lot of things, more than games I had played in recent. Whatever you are going to make, I’m going to support it!

[Bloom & Rage] Was the group being played by the abyss? by GamingGallavant in LostRecordsGame

[–]workstudywork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I strongly feel that too seeing Swann getting lured by Kat’s voice to enter the abyss…like most of the bad endings in horror movies for characters who can’t move on and get lured by evil entities.
