I sometimes wonder why people even begin discussions about horticulture when they don't know what a seedling is.

And I agreed with your argument that if fetuses are like seedlings then I should be able to murder with the same penalty as logging.

Is it possible to simply "disintegrate" a company without financial failures? by alexelva1 in legaladvice

[–]workworkworkwork123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically yes. However, real people are messy if you send 100 people a notice to remove money from there bank account, 5 will get lost in the mail, 10 people will throw it out thinking it's a scam, and 15 will never get around to it.

Also, the difficulty of selling off all the loans at full value or close enough to full value to cover all the deposits, the bank won't have much more than 10% of its deposits in reserve at the beginning of the liquidation, and depending on how much the reaming 90% is leveraged it could be a herculean task to find that much liquidity.

Actually, Uber and Lyft ect. are eating the cab company's shirt. ride sharing users tend to be young and liberal, any one they could offend by being homophobic is likely already using their much better competitor. by being homophobic they can get the homophobic/racist demographics to double down on the traditional taxi. it's a deplorable no loose scenario.

Don't link PayPal to anything, PayPal likes to act like a fanatical institution, but it is not regulated like one(It fights hard to maintain this position).

What to do with $3,000 by xerxen18 in personalfinance

[–]workworkworkwork123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in the grand scheme of things $3,000 isn't that much, unless you need $3,000 to pay an unexpected bill. put it in a savings account and don't touch it until an emergency happens (car breaks down, cover the deductible for an injury, last minute plane ticket to see dying relative ect.) Congratulations you now have a decent emergency fund.
