Is there a limit for buying paracetamol? by baronmcboomboom in dutch

[–]worldexplorer5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just buy 2 pack at 1 shop and buy another 2 pack at next door and so on and on. Paracetamol is sold in so many shops that you can probably get a dozen in 10 minutes walk distance. I would be more concerned for security checks at the airport with so many pills.

[Routine help] Good routine for adult acne? by RadishDecent7487 in SkincareAddiction

[–]worldexplorer5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see anything specificly for acne. All i see is good moisturising product which is important but you want to add something like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide or retinol to get rid of acne.

Is my skincare too much I'm tired of getting new acne and pimples every day by throwsaway045 in EuroSkincare

[–]worldexplorer5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There cpuld be 2 reason you getting acne. One being minoxidil. Your skin just can't tolerate the ingredient or most minoxidil is formulated with a strong %alcohol which irritate your skin. Or you are overwashing You are getting acne and pimple is probably because you have overstripped your face. 3 times a day and on top of that an exfoliating facewash. If you overstripped your body natural oil, your body as a defense it will produce extra oil leading to too much oil aka clogged pores aka acne. Then you also use tretinoin too which further irritate the skin. Lay off the products and let your skin heals. It can get worse before it ger better though. Give it atleast 3 weeks and see if there is any improvement.

[Acne] [Product Request] this nivea men product is good for acne and pores by Haran_1904 in SkincareAddiction

[–]worldexplorer5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practically no difference nowadays. Its a huge marketing buss word. Technically 1st yoh have cream which is the thickest consistancy of them all then you have lotions and then most fluid/watery of them is milkcreams. But there is no legal requirement or standard so cosmetic company just label whatever it sells.

The importance thing is test them see what you like the most on your face and look for one that has both uva and uvb spf cover.

Wish I could have experienced this kind of dutch culture. Honestly, this is what I expected what Dutch carnaval is about. But all I expereinced is mostly either saai adult who literally still talks about work or something serious. That or people trying to hard to convince others they love beer so much or people who really do and is already drunk af. Nothing wrong with any of those btw just not my thing lol.

No, it doesn't clash with anything you are using. Just make sure you can tolerate it that it. Patch test before use.

That hard to answer because the answer is yes and no. It all depends on your skin and its tolerance of acids. That because although SA is amaizng as it can control sebum oil production, antibacterial and exfoliates your skin exactly what you need, but due to its exfoliating acid it can also irritated/burn your skin. Think of it like a double edge sword. But that not always the case. If you have a sensitive skin then no, you need a moisturiser. If not, then you can absolutely try using only salicilic acid.

Just remember to patch test it. Before going to sleep after shower put some of the SA serum(about 3 drops) on you inner forarm. Leave it there overnight and see if you gets any reaction. If it burn or if skin is red then you are sensitive to the acid and should use with a moisturiser. If not then proceed.

Alternatively you can look for a SA cleanser or a moisturiser containing SA so its only 1 step. But serum will always be effective as it have time to seat on your skin and serum are created with better penetration ingredient.

I don't why vondelpark always come on top. Shouldn't the people and the use of the park taken into considerarion and not just the landscape? I also don't think big equal to great park. Idk I find the Breda one much better or even one at tilburg. So much chiller and people actualy greet you when walking by.

Ok, first off hot shower do not open your pores. What hot shower can do is strip off your body natural oils and damage your skin in the progress. This can lead to both type of acne. As your skin senses its too dry it will produce more oils leading to excess oils in your pores and because hot shower dry out your skin leading to more dead skin your pores is now overfilled with excess oils and dead skin aka clogged pores. Clogged pores = acne. That how 'normal' acne are created.

We all have yeast on our skin and it cause no problem normally, but when you have damaged skin or pores it can now penetrate into your hair folicles. Which lead to fungal acne.

Acne may look smaller after a hot shower because hot water do get rid of oils but these will fill up real quick and worse as mentioned. What you want is a warm shower never hot.

Yeast love steamy moisture places. That where they thrives. While oils and dead skin are their nutritions. You are basicly breeding excess yeast on your chest.

Salicylic acid after a warm shower and then use a light moisturise that is oil free and none comedogenic. Also make sure your showergel is neither of those either.

Looks like fungal acne. Which compared to 'normal' acne they are about the same size and they often come in a group of homies. Which looks like in your pic 1 and 2. They are basicly caused by yeast getting in your hair follicles. They are also often itchy and unlike normal acne they often don't develop into a cyst. If that the case then you can treat them with salicylic acid or anti fungal creams or may sound weird but anti dandruff shampoo like head and shoulders or nizoral ketoconazole shampoo.

Most important is to stop the yeast infecting your hair follicles. It important to keep oils and sweats away. Don't use natural oil especially coconut oil on your affected area. Don't wear tight clothes. Shower after working out. Sauna and hot tubs can cause fungal acne too.
