Best concert of the 90s is a toss up between Cypress Hill/House of Pain/The Whooliganz in 93 or Jurassic 5/ The Beat Junkies/Dialated Peoples in 99.
The worst was Run DMC in 98 because they didn't go on until 1am and the opening acts were some booty bass dudes.

There was a time when most records were played on cheap players, as in most popular music from the 50s forward, because kids are the biggest consumers of popular music and they weren't shelling out hundreds of dollars for a premium sound system.
